John Deere 2955 with Deep Woods mower attachment.

Rain is coming to Michigan so the ditches need to be mowed down.

Seems meaningless, but if the ditches aren't mowed the water will just sit in the field.

20+ main drain ditches on the farm all needed 3-4 passes to be done right.

5 passes on both sides but still needs more. Here's to all the farmers getting ready for the summer. Crack a cool one and good luck this year!

Damn there's a lot to farming that non-farmers don't know about. Carry on and thanks for the food.

What part of Michigan?

Southeast. Not to far from the Ohio border. Town called New Boston.

Wow looks just like where I'm at in Hudsonville. We have all those nice black dirt fields growing onions and every other vegetable.

Yeah we have a lot of clay and sand mixed in too, but mostly black dirt. Holds a lot of moisture so rain can be a curse sometimes.
