So technically they’re my dad’s dogs, but I see them at least twice a week when I go to visit. They just got groomed a couple days ago. I know the trims aren’t great, but I think they’re still super pretty. I wish their cuts were better, we just have to get a good groomer who knows how to make them look cute & girly.
This is Aspen, she’s 4 and my soul dog. I swear, sometimes I just FEEL when something is wrong. She has a luxating patella on the left hind leg. I just knew something was wrong, called my dad, he was baffled how I knew. She’s the other doggie’s mom. The story on how they ended up with both is both cute and maybe boring and a little sad. This is literally the sweetest girl though. We’re so happy we got her away from the family that bred her 3x in 4y. We think they didn’t show her a lot of love or affection. She didn’t even know how to play! But since they got to adopt her Willow, her daughter, has taught her how. She even gives tiny little sneky licks sometimes!
I call her daughter a few nicknames. I have been struggling for a while to come up with some clever play on Aspen to call her. Willow gets Willy Willow Widdershins/Widow Willow Widdershins/Willow Pillow. Idk why my ADHD brain decides to do this. I would love to hear suggestions!
This is Willow, she’s about a year and a half now, I think. Idk, my memory is terrible with dates. She’s so sweet. I got her a summery pink watermelon dress she loves to wear. She prances around in it and loves to be told how pretty she is. By far she is the smarter of the two, but they’ve had her since she was about 2w out of weening. She loves living kisses almost more than anything in the world. She also grumbles if you won’t play with her and will jab you with her little snoot in a mini temper tantrum. It is the sweetest thing. She was so happy her mom came to live with her and that she has a friend now. She loves to teach her mama to play! She loves to play fight. I like to give all my dad’s dogs (I say all, I’m also talking about those who have passed) little pet nicknames. He had a dog named Oliver, I randomly decided to call him John Stamos and that was all he would answer to except for Ollie Pops. I call Willow ‘Widow Willow Widdershins’ or Willow Pillow.
