I'd say its quite the opposite. I used to hear a noise at night and think "fuck a ghost" now i hear noise at night and think "fucking cat"

0.32% (24 million) of the worldwide population is schizophrenic. About 25% of the US population owns cats. (Estimates of approximately 1/3 worldwide). I married into a family that bipolar (with schizophrenia) runs in. They don't like cats. They are dog ppl. I'm pretty sure the genetics outweigh the pet ownership.
