They r really gr8 pets & easy 2 look after - but don't believe ppl when they say they don't need UV. They need a little or this can happen.

Also, before you get one you have to appreciate that they live like 20 years so it's a long term commitment. Fairly easy, extmly adorable.

Extremely swollen joints - especially on her right limb. I figured metabolic bone disease was setting in since she hasn't been eating ...

... bc it's winter & she's in a quasi-hibernation state. But I've been hand feeding & supplementing calcium for 3 wks & it just got worse.
