If you're posting an image for an imgur comment you can just click the little icon in the comment window and upload it directly into the comment.

But, if you want to have an image saved here for a comment on some other site, you still don't need to click "share to gallery"; once the image is uploaded it is uploaded and anyone who has the URL will be able to see it. It just won't appear in the new images that the rest of us see.

Just FYI

Not going to pass up a chance to upvote Barbara Hambly, especially for the first three books in this series.

Oh. Tiny octopus remembers this book. It was slow at first, but then BAM! He can still remember the smell the pages of the used copy he had.

OMG...I totally forgot about this gem of a book. Time for a long weekend re-read!

Dammit! Now I'm going to have to re-read as well, and I'm already behind on my reading list.

I have a limited run print of this signed by the artist! I put it in a high gaudy gold frame to draw attention to it when people come over. Now I need to read the book; I didn't know it was from a book.

The first three are great! The rest are good, but not really up to the standard of the original trilogy. Barbara Hambly is a historian, and also has a murder mystery series set in 1835 New Orleans that is really good, if you prefer historical work over fantasy.

And a vampire murder mystery series in the *I think* late 20s Europe if you want both! The first one is called Those Who Hunt The Night and it's fabulous. It also stars a very devoted married human couple who are both spectacularly intelligent in their own right which is a refreshing thing if you're sick of the shoehorned romance side plot.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about those. Not my favorites, but well written of course, like everything she writes.
