One Gram of THCA-A crystals(8)

I'm practicing my macro photography.

For sharing with Internet friends, right?

Wonder if you could backlight one? Or I guess the light would oversaturate the photo?

I’m not looking for any trade secrets but how do you extract this? This may be a stupid question but is this the crystaly stuff that is sometimes apparent on high quality buds?

The, what I'd say is the safest, introduction to making your extracts on your own would be a "rosin press" or a high-pressure heat press machine. Pressure/tonnage. You'd do a thing called the "bottletek" method probably, with flower, so the extract will be different than from doing it with hash. But if you have the stuff to make your own bubble-hash, you could do the pressing with hash itself. Just dehydrate bubblehash to dry-powder, then put it in a 37 micron nylon bag. Some high PSI pressure--

--and you get like 75% of the hash-weight back as extract, and that's the stuff you'd let sit and wait until the thca crystallizes. But still, separating the terpenes off requires other steps beyond that. That's just a good introduction to making your own extracts.

1) I didn't.
2) No, that is the trichomes, which is what makes up hash.
3) Hash is pressed, or has a solvent run through it, to get a high-purity extract.
4) Extract is allowed to sit until THCA crystallizes(or other methods), and then the terpenes are removed.
5) The THCA can then be recrystallized to get larger crystals. That's just one way I can think of.

I gotta tell ya. You have really taken your knowledge to the next level and beyond. I bet you get a little perturbed when someone refers to this as your hobby. You’re like a scientist. Thank you for sharing some of that knowledge with me/us.

I'm just super duper autistic and I've had an interesting 4 months catching up on stuff I fell out of knowledge for.
