This, I think, is representation of our galaxy's living stars...

This is a map of dead stars in our galaxy. They didn't expect there to big this big of a difference in the images. I just thought it was cool... Especially if you read the article, linked below, that goes with it. Thought it was worth sharing.

My attempt at an explanation was horrible I think.. take it easy on me.. just know I feel as dumb as it sounds

I think the dead stars look like something exploded out, the live ones look like they're going down a drain

Because the centre of mass for larger things would be the cube of the distance further, smaller stuff gets suck down the drain sooner >

And the slow to move coffee grounds cling to the sink.
