When you're Mexican, that's just saving eggshells to make cascarones for Easter.

It's not lazy, it's habit.

That looks like a passive aggressive act if I have ever seen one.
Imthemuthaflippin
A former roommate used to put his unfinished drinks in the recycling. Sometimes there would be half full cans in there. Lazy as fuck.
bluedeanie
gotta keep that carton balanced, op. ps your milk is flat.
debunker
Milk is flat? What does that mean?
look at that flat-ass milk, with your eyes
Well, I wasn't looking with my ears. Still doesn't make sense.

I do this. The carton is right by the stove. Crack the egg, drop the shell back into the carton. It prevents slinging salmonella everywhere

You need more drip management training. It's not hard to not get egg everywhere after you dump the contents in a frying pan.
Its not hard at all when the carton is right there. Easy. Effective.
You don't keep them in a refrigerator?
Not while I'm cooking.
Your justification was that they were near the stove. So, throw out the shells when you put the carton away.
I do that sometimes. Sometimes I don't.
And I don't need "justification" because there's nothing wrong here. :)
You gave a reason for your action .. that's called "justification". Sorry, I'll use smaller words next time :)
