This doesn't seem to make sense. 3044 people who were born roughly 18 (or 22?) years ago were all killed in school?

Misleading titles. 3044 Americans who would have graduated this year had they not died from gunshot (i.e. not just school shootings in 2022)

Prob, I would also guess a bunch die in school bus accidents (no seat belts).... most prob die outside of school drinking and driving tho.
