Well, I can’t say it’s a good location because one of the Carolinas hosts the National Gingerbread Competition this time of year until a bit into January.
Measles causes long-term damage like blindness, deafness, and severe neurological issues, most notably the fatal Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis (SSPE), which strikes years later. It also causes immune amnesia, wiping out immune memory for years, making survivors vulnerable to other infections.
So many nominees for the Darwin award this year.... I think these should absolutely go to the parents...
I am one of them woke Leftists you read about.... I think if a parent refuses to vaccinate a child and that kid dies of a preventable illness, I think the parents should be charged with voluntary manslaughter (I was gonna go with negligent homicide, but that requires an 'unreasonable failure to perceive a risk', whereas the manslaughter charge is justified because it involves 'consciously...
Which this 100% falls into. These people are aware of the risk and chose to endanger their children, they should be squished by the legal system for the deaths of these children.
And yes, there will be deaths, there already have been and there will be many more....
Also, when you are next at your doctor, ask to get a 'measles titer test'... basically it is a simple blood test to make sure the vaccine is still active in your system (some of you may have been vaccinated decades ago).
If it comes back negative, you can get a simple booster to reimmunize yourself (measles is extremely dangerous for adults with a higher mortality than for kids... it is rare cuz most adults are vaccinated and those that aren't have prob had measles).

Negligent homicide would be the charge. As parents, they have a duty of care to the child to prevent harm.
