Expectations ruined by reality

This and Avatar are my two favorite series. If you somehow haven't seen them, give them a look. Have a great Monday, folks.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

FMA Brotherhood is the best anime series of all time, and no one can convince me otherwise.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

FMA DUMPS ARE SO RARE AND THEY ALWAYS MAKE MY DAY. Take my fake internet point.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

FMA is a cherished series for me

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck FMA:B, especially the second half. Goddamn lack of supply of those blu-rays before the license expired means they start at $130usd new.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's why they are so expensive? Was wondering about that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had no problem getting the full set of blu-rays. But then, I didn't put it off until they were going out of print.

What's with the dog with hair?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

A guy used alchemy to combine his daughter and dog into one body. It's a disturbing and sad episode that people like to overreact about.

no wait..

Regarding the last one I was surprised no other character commented on his being not short anymore especially after he grows taller than >

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

than Winry since the last time they saw each other.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So useless in Rain. :(

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

DId you forget you were useless in rain, Sir? XD

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I now understand FMA received a new season, for a while i was very confused because i couldn't remember seeing some of the scenes...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

but is it a new-new season or the original redone? Cuz IIRC ed was stuck in WW2 Germany or something without his transmutation powers

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a new season, a new show. FMA: Brotherhood starts from the beginning but stays true to the manga. It is super good. 10/10.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

sweet, I hated the ending of the original show.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. Literally zero closure. You will enjoy FMA:B,

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still my favourite anime. I think it always will be

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#5 Hoenheim isn't the most powerful character. "Father" is more powerful, and arguably "God" is too.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I dunno. Hoenheim seemed to have a much higher grasp and scope of power before father absorbed God. Plus he plans ahead

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, maybe I confused baseline father with the one after he absorbed god

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OKAY, THERE, IT'S A BAD DAY FOR RAIN, IN THE FEELS, AFTER THAT WHOLESOME DUMP!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OH MY GOD #11 XD

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can you transmute me a lover, or is that gonna cost me an arm and a leg?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i knew i liked Hohenheim the moment when he got smashed by two giant rock hands, instead of destroying them, he made a door and stepped out

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Said it before and I'll say it again: FMA '03 > Brotherhood. Come at me.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Was not a fan of the ending. The movie didn't help like I thought it would either. FMA:B has more memorable characters, too. However I 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

did love both series, and I particularly enjoyed the portrayal of the homunculi in FMA '03. The Lust episodes were great. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I also love both, but they both have their flaws. I prefer the emotion and tone of the original, and the themes of atonement & sacrifice.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The ending of the show and movie was perfectly in keeping with those tones, even if they were a little out there.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I disagree. No series should end like that. You should feel some amount of closure, good or bad, at the end.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I... I mean my friend... Doesn't get #2... Can anyone explain?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A crossover between FMA and the Grinch.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Reference episode 4 of FMA: Brotherhood, "An Alchemist's Anguish." It's pretty messed up, and that's not even the worst example.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I've seen the series, but why the stick bound to the chimera's head?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah, it's a Grinch reference. That's an antler, not a stick. Maybe they originally posted it around Christmas?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Ah man. If there were ever a series I could forget entirely about and then stumble upon again it would be fma

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

http://imgur.com/NDqgiWT INCREDIBLE DUMP, RESPECTABLE ALBUM, HAVE A +1!!!!!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I never got to finish this show, but I don't know where to watch it. Seems like they've removed it everywhere.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Van Hohenheim spoke with the souls not all at once it would take a long time. Here's some of the math. 500,000 souls takes 5 days to say:

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"hello". 15 days to introduce himself like saying, "My name is Van Hohenheim". 5 days to say "what's your name". >>

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

10 days to ask, "Where are you from?". Then to get a response similar it would take the same amount of time. Just to get that>>

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

information would take 60 days to speak with over 500,000 souls. Two months just to say your name and where you are from.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but he already knows where they're from. They're from the fallen kingdom of Xerxes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And he had centuries to do it in.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was more like one day I thought "hey does Ed look buffer?"

8 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 0

Something like, "when did his shoulders become that broad," perhaps?

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

eh he definitely looks odler.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He is an odd one.
