Watch different movies? I feel like I still see that shit all the time and I'm actually tired of it. What I rarely see is the thing I love, no music, the sound track does off and all you hear is the action scene. Adds more gravitas imo

But hey, of the almost 500 people who have seen this, at least 6 agree with you! I feel like action comedies have what you are looking for the most, or the old boomer stalone vibe action movies. Real action movies want to be taken seriously. Personally if I never hear an acdc, motley crue, the same three Metallica songs, etc etc etc again in a movie it will be too soon. There are literally millions of songs out there, why do we have to keep recycling the same 12?

Just go watch guardians of the galaxy (and every marvel movie made since) and you'll get what you want. Like how do you even say that when yet another Deadpool movie just came out?! And that's like, 50% of what the movie is. Deadpool 1-3, and guardians onward nets you like ten movies to watch

Lol sorry one more thing 😂 as I was scrolling up I saw again your line about how so much of it is forgettable without that now - well, if you've seen the movies I just mentioned and still feel that way.... Then maybe that's not what makes it memorable or forgettable! Maybe you're just getting old and the memory is going and the thing you hold on to better are things from a long time ago that had an impact in your youth
