I need to know the equation of this, like what series of math makes dickbutt? I am asking for a friend...

Is this the new iOS10?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Knew what it was before it even started

The gap bothers me

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A friend of mine is trying to write a game like this

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What kinda algorithm do you use to generate this stuff?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I knew it was dickbutt the second it rounded the butt

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did the small gap near the right eye bother anyone else?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

YES

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like clockwork

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looks like Gallifreyan

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This dickbutt looks like Josh Hutcherson.

Before the heliocentric theory, "learned men" had to resort to this level of complexity with crystal spheres to keep earth center.

This is perfect actually

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

@op what program is this?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Astronomers used to explain motion of heavenly bodies this way, and now this... Good job, humanity. We had a great run.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't want to upvote you, just your friend.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This. This is why I browse usersub.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Was not expecting dick butt. Got dick butt. Was not disappointed.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shoulda known... +1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

'I made someone make this.' I like your style, @OP

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Outsourcing FTW!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I can't do it, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist, right?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Okay im making a kickstarter for this to rebuild it with physical gears. We can build THE DICKBUTT MACHINE!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The speed at which the tiny gears would be spinning would likely melt their braces.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure the tiny gears would fly off and grab a knife and slit your throat

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh my god. You Fourier transformed dick butt. Salutations.

9 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

Solutions*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Is that how it's done? Fourier transforms?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Holy coolness Batman!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Best explanation of Fourier transforms I've seen, and I have a minor in mathematics!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've been working on pedagogy and mathematics for a while ; the only thing I haven't found an intuitive explanation for is tensor product.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still looking though. I tend to believe if an idea is mathematical, there exist an easy way for our brain to conceptualize it. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The amount of time and patience that must have taken is insane. I used that program in kinematics. You get my upvote

9 years ago | Likes 1306 Dislikes 3

He must've just gone "fuck it" on the right eye

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He just parametrized the path and then took a Fourier transform to determine the radius of the circles. Simple stuff really.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

I'm not even mad, I'm just impressed.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Name of program pls?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know nothing about it, but got a headache just thinking about what it took to make it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's a huge multi link kinematic mechanism. Think of how push rods in a car work and multiply that by like 50 all in different dorections

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I majored in Computer Animation and character rigging in Maya, but not sure how that translates to this program.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can it use IK (inverse kinematics)? Like using the draw point to control the controls vs the controls pushing the draw point?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not that I know of

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time and patience can be exchanged to processor cycles.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sauce? For those of us who know nothing of this mathematics program

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Geogebra was the name of the program we used. There are a few different ones that look similar.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Was the fourier transformation used? each one of these circles are a sinusoidal function aren't they?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Actually Thats Wrong

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Yes it does use fourier

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's actually Galifrean for Dickbutt

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Shhh.. Don't share the Timelord's secrets...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What if that's literally how Gallifreyan works?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

This broke my joke, but it gave me valuable geek knowledge. I thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Crazy how nature do dat

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is math a lie? Just curious about your perspective.

Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, it's translating nature for humans to fully understand it. Our logic has limits though

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Crazy how nature do dat

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

forgive me, I'm but not a mathematician, but I smell mad Fourier transforms here?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nobody got the PI reference? Shame kids shame.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually I'd say its the way we understand nature by quantifying it in a way we understand. An alien could very well have different ideas.

Love that other people know this movie.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I feel dumb for asking this. But can you draw anything using math? Or what is happening in this picture.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Any such drawing can be roughly represented by a mathematical formular "y = "...x...". What happens in this picture can also be described ..

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

.. by a formular. But it's really just a chain of wheels with a pencil on the last wheel. Each wheel keeps turning at the same speed ..

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

.. and in the end this produced the drawing. Seems miraculous, but it's really just a question of careful calibration.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn straight, ugh this has always bugged me. Though I guess the incorrect grammar "mitochondria is" does emphasize how little was learned.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well more to the point it's how the original post went

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to as well. They apparently learned very little.
