I grew up poor. Hunting put meat on the table. And 43 years later I still remember rolling my first rabbit in our backyard as if it happened only yesterday.

sounds like a waste of money vs going and delivering the food yourself... I mean to say that doordash is NOT the most efficient means of food distribution by any metric. It might matter more to me than to well off people because I'm dirt poor.

Humans are social creatures, as much as some turn away from others or turn on them.
The majority do and will actually help others when the need arises. It's one of the main reasons Humans as a species have survived.
Because we help our weak and less fortunate.
Now it's not a prefect system and many fall through the gaps, but it's something.
