African Harrier Hawk

Babirusa

Wild pig notorious for its tusks penetrating its own skull

Bat Eared Fox

Bearded Vulture

Bearded Vultures are one of the strongest vultures. They can use their wings to batter prey from cliff sides and if given the opportunity, beat them to death.

Chimera fish

Curl Crested Aracari

Looks like someone got into the VHS tapes

Dhole

An extremely affectionate pack hunter, prehunt rituals include nuzzling and humping. Spread the love

Genet

If bought, genets cannot be passed from one owner to another and can revert to complete wilderness if removed from the original family.

Giant Pangolin

Hoatzin

Old species of bird whose lineage is indeterminable and refuted frequently . The young are born with clawed wings.

Hoopoe

Klipspringer

Maned Wolf

Not even a true wolf, but hey it needed a name

Morepork

I'm not even kidding. That's pretty much why I like it. Also known as the Tasmanian Spotted Owl

Opah

Manul

Classic imgur favorite. Also known as the Pallas Cat

Phillippine Eagle

If you haven't noticed, birds with funky feathers are my cup of tea

Queen Carola's Parotia

A bird of paradise, a family in which I adore.

Raccoon Dog

Also known as the beloved tanuki

Snow Leopard

Tibetan Sand Fox

What a pretentious looking asshole.

Then how does one buy a genet?

If I think of any of theses animals for a game of 20 questions, I would win everytime. Except maybe snow leopard.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Some of these are legitimate Pokemon. Klipspringer, MorePork, Hoopoe.

I've got one dhole myself

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Pretty good choices op. I like your style

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just for the record, the Hoatzin is NOT the oldest presumed bird. It's relation to other birds is hotly debated. The claws on the young

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

are likely due to reversion back to ancestral trait, rather than the sign of ancient lineage; e.g. chickens still have genes for teeth

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Pre hunt rituals include nuzzling and humping." Noice

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Jay! It's a fuckin baby whale dude...it's a fuckin sea moanstah

That can't be a tanuki, unless you show me it turning to stone.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

+1 was thinking the same thing!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or a giant magical ballsack pouch. Tanuki are crazy.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man, that dog is such a d-hole.

10 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

There are packs of these roaming the map in Far Cry 4... you learn to fear their high pitched barking...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your mom's just a D-hole

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Omg, did the Tibetan Sand Fox die?

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Pangolins walk on their back legs: and the Opah fish is the first warm blooded fish discovered, ever!

10 years ago | Likes 134 Dislikes 0

It's also delicious

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I just watched a video about a chef buying it at market and cooking it. Didn't mention the warm blooded thing tho.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Crazy how nature do that

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Pretty legitimately crazy that we only just now discovered a warm blooded fish. Makes you wonder what other unexpected species are out there

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

First or only? I could Google this but this suits my laziness, those tabs are so far away.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

First and at present only - its discovery was quite a big deal a few months ago.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Depends though... Great Whites are at least partly warm-blooded.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So how did that go unnoticed for 200 years? Just nobody thought to check?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Who knows - but for real - 2015 was the year we identified a warm blooded species of fish! ... @sparkledick :P

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

@cuntsparkle

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

LMFAO

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yo bearded vultures don't actually push animals off cliffs using their wings, they are scavengers but do drop tortoises on rocks sometimes.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They also drop bones from altitude to break them and eat the highly nutritive marrow.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They eat the bones too. Fucking wicked xD If I really wanted to go into falconry I'd think about having one of these, they're so damn cool.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wasn't really sure about that, that pretty metal for a bird :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry, I never meant to imply that they were active hunters. It has been reported that these instances are coincidental and more often 1/?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They eat more bones than meat. I believe something about this is mentioned on the wikipedia page. 3/3

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As a result of being startled rather than the need to hunt live prey. It's highly unlikely that a bird would such a drastic risk when 2/?
