I'll provide a link for good context but by now with the amount of posts that have come up regarding the fires, you know what's going on.
Just know that we've had pretty much no good leadership the entire time, the cunt went on holiday and didn't even explain to the public where he was and had to apologise, and now after the worst days so far he is still either nowhere to be seen or spouting pure shit. I'm beyond embarrassed.

This bible thumping asshole must be sent packing.

We all need to start demanding more from leadership like wtf

Fuck that cunt.

Feel your pain. His spirit animal leads the US.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Strange, sounds like he’s running for office in the US, true GOP material. Poor Australia, maybe you’ll get lucky and he’ll burn

nope my presidents ALWAYS have a bigger body count and i'm pretty sure killing mofos is a good metric for shitty leadership

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Justin Langer said he was hoping for rain, and ScoMo is telling people to forget the fires with a bit of cricket. How fucking ridiculous.

6 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

When one of his family dies send him a thoughtful message about cricket. It's the least you can do.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

It's like they take Trump's incompetence as a challenge to be the worst leader possible.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He was the sop option to get the coalition back in power Dutton will roll him soon

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm somewhat surprised and disappointed that nobody has even tried to beat the everliving shit out of him.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Can we make a post about world leaders that are doing a good job? All we see are the ones doing a shit job and that's neg reinforcement

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 12

If you can find a world leader actually doing a good job please do.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Correct. Because if we don't start seeing these fuckwits as evil, then we aren't going to get anything done.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Took them way too long to send the military to help with evacuations...

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I agree, I don't know why it took so long. I don't think we have the busiest military

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is weak as piss

6 years ago | Likes 212 Dislikes 3

I'd say he's more weak like fosters. Piss at least helps grow lemon trees

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least my piss burns.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

So does Australia, apparently.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He is not, at least piss can get shit off of the bowl.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Piss has a purpose then.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The problem is, if we get rid of Morrison, then only someone else from the LNP will replace him. The LNP has a whole has to go.

6 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 3

Australia voted the LNP back into power. We get the leaders we deserve.

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Throw out the whole Australia, start over.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Judging by the past couple of weeks, that's what the country's currently attempting to do.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

"Roight that's it! I've fuckin had enough" - Australia setting itself on fire

6 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

You got the video of him doing this with the firefighter? Exact same thing, forcing a handshake after they've said they'd rather not

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Honestly should have called him out on touching her without consent.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This is painful to watch

6 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Who is the guy in the hat who keeps trying to placate people? The town mayor or something?

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Tony Allen. Local councillor, conservative. Bullied an indigenous woman, and spent 6 years suing a nun who called him out for it.

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Wow. Suing nuns is next level classy.

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Have you considered putting your baby boomers Nauru and Manus instead of migrant children?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

If only

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Perhaps we should stop voting for politicians based on personality and start looking at policy?

6 years ago | Likes 738 Dislikes 6

That’s more inhumane than treating each other with respect and kindness

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We should also make sure MPs PMs and premiers are paid alot less

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You have to be able to read, think, and ponder upon a policy first

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ha! What are you gonna tell us next, to look at what they do, not what they say? Please...

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He got them with the damn franking credits

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He has the personality of a sack of shit so i dont understand why he won.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because policies never change, and promisses made during elections are never broken. Truth is, politics is like a box of chocolates...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or at least pick Good alignments?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's the pick of Murdoch media

6 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 2

THE LIBERAL GOVERNMENT!!!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It is what I do. But it does require avoiding all news. Politicians and media use charisma to sway... I just read up on policies right (1)

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

before voting. Unfortunately even that is usually the lesser of two evils... I will agree on some policies and disagree on others. Maybe(2)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

we should vote individually on the top 5-10 issues as well. (3)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The vast majority of people who voted for his party DID pick on policies.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But educating yourself takes time and effort, you can't possibly ask people to make educated decisions....

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I wasn't offered any education in politics until uni, & I get the impression I could have been focusing on this my whole life & still ->

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

barely understand what I need to know. Trying to learn about this on my own, without guidance, is a lot to ask. I wish it was a bigger ->

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

part of my education when I was young.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some people have consumed almost nothing but Murdoch media their entire life and don't know there's anything else they need to know

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If we started voting for politicians based on personality we'd spend every election trying to find one with personality.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s what we did in the US, with catastrophic results. We chose the pseudo-charismatic idiot over the rigid policy wonk.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yup. Here in Aus we *try* to vote for who we think will fuck up the least. But preferences continually fuck us over.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(In case it's not a thing in the US. Basically parties without enough votes to get into power can basically sell them to someone who will 1/

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

in exchange for political favour etc 2/2

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shorten was a lot of things, but given his track record you know he'd handling this better. He wasn't charismatic, but he'd be better...

6 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

He wasn't uncharismatic either. The majority of Aus media just kept telling everyone he was "unlikeable" over and over til they believed it.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

100% this. Big business runs the libs and they have control over what you see so Shorten was always buried in shit

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think they saw this episode of Doctor Who and gave it a whirl themselves

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a Labour supporter, and I would never have used charismatic to describe him. Turnbull, Rudd, Keating, Hawke? Yes.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then you’re just making decisions on the lies they tell. Politicians can’t be trusted. As soon as they get any power their allegiance shifts

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From my limited knowledge about our politics and the last election, I think everyone was kind of surprised when he/his party won.

6 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 0

He scared enough people into thinking a look into Franking Credits (which is a loophole) was going to turn into a tax on the elderly.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I worked the election and I was surprised he won because in my polling place it was labor by a landslide. And like, two votes for Hansen.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Including the people who voted for said politician/party?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not uncommon. People do stupid "protest votes" and then act surprised when everyone else does too.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fucking Queensland's fault

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was a perfect example of why preference votes matter and why donkey voting is dangerous.

6 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 0

???

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

first past the post voting gives you the american government, you don't want the american government

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Because it makes you look like an ass?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oh the amount of penises i saw counting ballots. Someone drew Batman riding a donkey though.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait. Voting counts?

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

This^ is why low voting rates are dangerous. A couple nut job strategists have figured out how to pull the right levers to get into power.

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Over 90% the left wing leader wasn’t charismatic in a nut shell https://www.aec.gov.au/media/media-releases/2019/06-13a.htm

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Though I believe voting is mandatory in Australia. Education counts too.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Voting is mandatory in Aus
