The greatest shade ever thrown.

I love the unnecessary classic eye light

I just saw again this movie yesterday... Morticia (Angelica Huston) is an erotic myth of my young age.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The scenes at the summer camp are some of the greatest satire of class peer pressure I've ever seen. And look at Angelica Houston! <3 her!

Wednesday Addams is my kindred spirit.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

I've always found this scene ironic, considering that the original Addams family set was bright pastel pink.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

OMG. Debbie = Nancy Grace

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

" We shall gladly feast on those who would subdue us "- my kine people...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So I'm totally clueless when it comes to pop culture-- what movie is this?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Addams Family Values

I love that "I respect that."

Debbie .... The Temptress of Waikiki !!!!

The Addam's Family movies are both great. I don't count the rest of them obviously. Everyone was phenomenal. RIP Raul Julia, a great actor.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

i dont get it

"he's got your father's eyes!" "fester, take those out of his mouth"

Angelica Houston the Grand high bitch.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love her so much.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Made me go watch the movie. Thank you so much.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which movie I never got an answer :(

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Addams Family Values. Both it and the original movie are on Netflix in the US

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks friend! :)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You're welcome, buddy

I wanted ballerina Barbie! They had to go!

Best speech in the whole film!!

"Don't I deserve LOVE! and jewelry..."

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Ha ha wow. Seeing it vs hearing it is a new level .

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sorry Debbie, no Mercedes this year. We have to set an example. Set this!

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

*"I was a BALLERINA. DELICATE! GRACEFUL! They had to go."

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

The classiest and the sassiest.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I respect the lighting guy for getting that specific lighting across Morticia's face in all of her scenes!

10 years ago | Likes 151 Dislikes 1

That's make up actually. Blew my mind

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 11

I find that even more impressive.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whaaaaaaaaaaat?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The make up doesn't hurt, but it is mostly lighting. You can see in some of the shots where she moves more that the light doesn't follow.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah pastels are the worst!

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Goddamn right they are.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm OK with them, as long as the other 90% of me is black

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Black with some hot pink or red?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or green! :) yes

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd forgotten on this scene until I watched it on Netlfix a week ago. I literally stood up and yelled "OH SHIT SON!"

10 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 6

IS IT ON US NETFLIX!!!!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup! Both the first and the second!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Easy the best family ever. Parents madly in love even after 3 children, family stick together through thick and thin and they were dedicated

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Sure, there was the occasional risk of decapitation and/or torture, but all in the name of fun :D

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

BDSM is their thing, you see.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's 100% my ideal life if/when I "grow up". Gomez is perfect. "I'd die for her, i'd kill for her... either way, what bliss."

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

When the show first started, they were the first television couple to have an active, on-screen romance, as well as an implied sex life.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And Gomez and Morticia were often described as the only TV family to even seem capable of having children, much less raising them.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They're not only capable. All incarnations are amazing parents.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ironic when you see colour photos of the original set...

10 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 5

3 hence why old t.v. sets were eye gouging messes of color.

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

2 to be a giant grey and poorly lit mess. They found out what colors worked best at giving off darker and lighter tones of grey on t.v.

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

1 not really. Early black and white t.v. used black white and grey alot for thier sets and clothing. Unfortunately, this caused the picture

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 3

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

He said it was ironic because the TV stage was in pastels. I said it wasn't. Has nothing to do with the movie.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

yeah but its still funny because in the past the whole house was pastel coloured but she hates pastels. more than betrayal etc.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

BUT HER WHOLE HOUSE WAS PASTELS

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You're not wrong. But the origional set was still in pastels whatever the reason. It's supposed to be funny

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Angelica Houston is the Perfect Morticia

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This - so much this

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This entire movie is a masterpiece. The first one was good, but this one fucking nailed it.

10 years ago | Likes 1432 Dislikes 5

Hell yes man

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What movie is this? Omg is it the one where Matthew McConaughey gets aids? I never saw that I was worried it would be contagious.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 23

Rule 1 of imgur commenting: NEVER EVER EVER actually say the name of the movie you're speaking of

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Awesome! I didn't even know that rule and I did it right! I'll be nice and tell you it's the Addam's Family movies from the 90's.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

God damn it, why can't I upvote this comment more than once?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hell yes man

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly I didn't like this one as much, but I haven't seen it since I was like 10 (so about 12 years ago). I should watch this soon.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is it from?

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I saw the 2nd recently having assumed it was a bad sequel. It's the rare improvement from the 1st.

10 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

it's been like 20 years, but i'm pretty sure this IS the first one. the plot was long lost fester. second one plot was new baby.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Long lost Fester was the first one, yes. The one with Joan Cusack was the second one. The lady in white above is Joan Cusack. This is part 2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you are correct sir. i thought she was the one manipulating him in the first one. like i said, it's been 20 years.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, the first one was his "mother". She was a snatch.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it's been like 20 years, but i'm pretty sure this IS the first one. the plot was long lost fester. second one plot was new baby.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

This is the second. The baby became a "normal" baby while fester was away, because the family was like torn apart.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I love this movie. One of my favorites.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

AFV is good? I always thought it was more of a B movie.

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 12

*shrugs* I never did.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

B-Movie doesnt mean bad.....

10 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

The A plot is garbage. It's pretty much the same as the first. However, Wednesday's story deserved to be the whole movie.

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

How is it any way, shape or form the same as the first movie?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fester + gold digging woman + rich Addams family = hijinks

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hmm. I see what you're saying. I never really looked at it that way, though. Mainly because the focus is on Debbie (Joan), not Fester.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There is that variation, and it's mostly a good change, but it still strikes me as unimaginative.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The A plot for two is how the first movie should have done the A plot. There is no doubt the second script is superior in every single way.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The only issue I have was the weirdly varying levels of crazy. One minute she's graverobbing, next, she's all grossed out at something stupid

10 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 2

She's not grossed out, she's frustrated. She was fine with screwing Fester to get him to leave his family, but she was mad he wouldn't die

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I don't remember her being grossed out?

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

it's chubby and pink and she faints, but i think the overacting made it better

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

a villain kicks in.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Watch the whole movie, and pay close attention to her reactions. There are times where she fits right in, then the script's need to make her

10 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

She was only ever grossed out because things weren't far enough for her. That's the beauty of her character writing, it can be extrapolated

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I just want a Gomez to my Morticia. Is that too much to ask?

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

I found my Morticia and I promise your Gomez is out there! for God's sake do not settle for "normal"!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

ive made that mistake before, never again!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cara Mia!

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Mon cher!

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Are you two about to get fucky? Because that always happens when the words 'Cara Mia' and 'Mon cher' are said out loud. Rules are rules.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Trish! That's French!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was 9 hours late on that one, but in my defemse I had to go watch Addams Family Values again :)

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

that is an acceptable excuse.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What are pastels?

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

Where are the pastels in the scene?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nobody even answered you... I was wondering too

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not pictured, I think. Debbie had made Fester wear different clothes in the movie, and black never looked more fashionable.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

She wears them.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Her house is decorated with them, you can see more in this scene when you watch it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Everywhere! Are you blind?? (See what I did there?) see my other comment for context

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hahaha, that's commitment
