As a fellow AB+, the antibodies of plasma are inverted; you're a universal donor for that. If you can, find an apheresis center and donate!

I did once but am no longer eligible. Some sort of anti-clotting gene, I believe. So they just pump me for the whole blood now and then.

Blood rarity and reception are inverse. O+ can only get O+ but can donate to everyone. Ab- can get from anyone but only give to ab-.

Im going to say no. At least at my center, they will turn down a kidney if the anatomy makes it difficult to retrieve the organ. They (1)

(2) dont want to risk damaging the organ and losing it, as well as putting two people through unnecessary surgery, especially the patient.
