I never understood why people think Ryan Gosling is hot, I'm sure he's attractive to some (or a lot!) but he doesn't seem typically hot

Hannibal blinked. Just never when he was speaking.

Fun fact: Maurice Tillet was known as "The French Angel" because his face was once angelic and he was known as a gentleman outside the ring.

I reread the LotR one about 100 times and it still doesn't make sense. Is it trying to say his quest to RETURN the ring took 17 years?

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This was actually answered already, but after he received the ring it took 17 years before he left the Shire. Gandalf was off for some time

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Gotcha, that makes sense. The grammar in that one is just abysmal. Thank you.

17 years for the Ring quest? not 17 months? i really dont remember it being this long. Oo

That montage when Gandalf runs off to to the libraries of Minas Tirith to answer some questions? In the book, he was gone for 17 years.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

17 years from the time he gets the ring to the time the quest starts. Not 17 years for the quest itself.

Ok, thanks.

$7 million in 1912 would be $163,998,903.84 in 2012 dollars. So not that far off really.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
