After 20 years, 5 children, and a stroke, I’m going back to college. I have spent my life encouraging everyone I know to dream big, believe in themselves, and know they are good enough to succeed. “It costs nothing to encourage an artist”- Kevin Smith Well, it costs nothing to encourage everyone. I never listened to myself. I stayed in my career getting better, becoming a specialist, doing good in the world, and not getting paid for the work I’m doing or being able to move forward anymore because I’m missing a couple letters after my name. I’ve decided to fix that. I’m not young anymore and 4 of my 5 kids are adults. Most of my classmates are young enough to be my children. 1 of my teachers is my age. It’s weird, to be sure. I’m proud of myself, and just wanted to share to encourage myself to believe that I really can do this!

It’s a start. On track to transfer to UWMadison.
