What a jerk!!

I will test your patience while praying you play by the rules and don't hurt me enough to stay in a hospital for a couple of months.

I forgot how much Saturday is just a big long repost of everything from Friday.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm as 'fuckcars' as the next guy, but whyyyyyy do that?

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 7

He was doing the hooker walk.

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

Fucking beautiful when the community comes together. Fucking asshole...

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 7

Seems like we're I live in PDX except the walker will evil eye you even before you honk. How dare you drive on a road when I am walking>

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

right next to a sidewalk I refuse to walk on. I have seen people have to traffic because these morons cannot walk on sidewalks

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I glad it didn't go any further than the shove with correcting dialog. Dipshits need correcting, not killing

3 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 9

Do stupid things earn stupid prizes

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

Need to be careful. All it took was that (fuck knuckle's) head on the kerb edge and it's at minimum manslaughter...

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yeah true. Better to bear hug the guy, pick him up, and move him off the road

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the guy looks drunk, or on something. something about how he's walking just doesn't seem right.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He’s walking like he has a stick up his ass because he thinks he owns the road. I don’t think he’s drunk

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Violence is not the answer. It's the solution.

3 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 12

Threat of violence is an age-old societal constraint on behavior. If no one ever finds out, more will feel free to fuck around.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Violence is the question. The answer is Yes.

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

It looks like he is about to go and start walking in the road again as the video ends.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Fyi, this is Melbourne, Aus. Ltl bourke st btw Elizabeth & Swanston. Its a pedestrian right of way all along the road. Hes still a twat tho.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm so glad someone did that

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 10

The right move is, drop into neutral and floor it. He'll get right out of the way

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fucked around and found out. Why would you even do that?

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 7

Such a stupid thing to do, just takes one person hanging on the edge to say enough is enough. In NY a cabbie would give ya the bump.

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

"Hey, I'm walkin' here!!!!"

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

…goes back on the road

3 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

didn't learn that roads are for vehicles, sidewalk for pedestrians

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Prick believes he's in the right. Eventually a car will squish him.

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

Except.... if this is in England, pedestrians do have the right of way, not cars.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah Melbourne, Lt Bourke St. Yeah frankly not surprised. If your that big of a dickhead deserve a shove.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Fashion Week is getting ridiculous

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It looks like he's about to go back into the street to continue walking.... videos that end too soon

3 years ago | Likes 301 Dislikes 10

And start too late

3 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

Agreed, Im curious what started him to walk in front of the car in the first place

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Guarantee he crossed slowly, car beeped impatiently, and he decided to put-dick move him. I deal with drunk people constantly.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That he goes back to it for the next car makes it harder for me to think he was provoked.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Right?? I'm not convinced this guy was the original asshole. People in cars can be real dicks to pedestrians

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

He'd be the original asshole to the innocent drivers after the first car though

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

However, I don't see any.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah but it takes a real idiot to bring their body to a car fight.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Did he try to act like he was deaf at the end?

3 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 9

Deaf people know better than to walk in traffic.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, I think he said " do you think I'm deaf?". Which suggests he knew exactly what he was doing. What a douche

3 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 5

Yeah, must be blind too if he cannot not see the headlights behind him.

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Cocksplat can’t even use headphones as an excuse.

3 years ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 11

He knew exactly where he was walking

3 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

Can he use "fuck cars & car culture" as an excuse? If the issue is that horn is disturbing people, get mad at the guy that made THAT choice.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 33

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Headphones are never an excuse. We have ears to help us navigate our surroundings not ignore them.

3 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

Except when a creep is hitting on a girl on the subway.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The exception that proves the rule? I definitely want my headphones off so I can hear him. She should definitely put hers in.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya you'd see the lights behind you. You can see the asphalt. Guys just a twat

3 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

Fuck in most places I could tell from the way the ground feels underfoot that I was on road. Especially in urban centers like this it's >

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

> always enormously flatter and smoother than the pavement - no slabs or paving stones or anything else. He actively chose to ignore >

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

> multiple senses just to satisfy his own douchey desire to walk on the fuckin road.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Exactly, there's no way he didn't know what he was doing. Guy got off lightly

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like the part where the hoodie kids give out justice

3 years ago | Likes 1763 Dislikes 52

Not sure of the context, but I find myself upvoting the hoodies too.

3 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 6

"have some fucking respect, bro" is a classic Aussie line...

3 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

Pumks gonna punk

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

By attacking the deaf guy?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 22

Well he obviously isn't blind, and he's walking down the middle of a street..

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I'd wanna know the whole story before i agree this is justice

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I can't think of any jurisdiction where walking down the middle of the street like that would be legal. Happens often enough but not right.

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

fwiw in this case the walker was being an ass but that's not a road, it's technically a shared zone where pedestrians have right of way

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Appears not There is a separate sidewalk divided from the roadway by what appear to be bicycle racks. no actual curb but delineated. =>

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And the car didn't seem to be able to use the other path to get around the jerk.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i dont think itd be legal either but I can imagine situations where it might be justified.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is he deaf?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doubt it. Even if he were, deaf people can still feel vibrations. A car honking that close would trigger danger responses.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Lt Bourke St, where pedestrians have right of way on the road.

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Thought it looked like Melbourne!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol, that makes all this anger in this post all the more insane. Wow.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It also happened at 2am. A driver being mildly inconvenienced while driving through a clubbing area doesn't warrant the guy getting clobberd

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It being 2am makes the horn even more obnoxious.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If anything the guy on the horn should be accosted, IMO. Looks like an uber anyway driving round at that time.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why though?

3 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 4

It’s art, look it up! /s

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe the car honked at him earlier so he felt like being a knob was the mature response.

3 years ago | Likes 162 Dislikes 2

He seems super drunk to me

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Might just be me, but he seems to be walking like someone whose been drinking since noon

3 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 5

He’s part of the /r fuckcars subreddit and thinks annoying people in cars is activism

3 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 6

is this something you know or something that might be true

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh I’m just talking out my ass. This is however somthing that the subreddit would champion. They really hate automobiles

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

So some jackass from a Reddit forum thinks blocking the road is lulz. Someday someone will hit him on purpose or while distracted

3 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

He doesn't think is funny in the slightest, he really thinks this will help the cause of creating more walkable car-free zones

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this a pollution thing or just cars in general?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It’s a pollution thing, a city planning thing, and a cost thing. They don’t like how bad public transit is, and blame how society is built

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

To support the model of spread out city with cars. They want everything to be walkable and built around bikes. Lots of bike stans in the sub

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah, he obviously should find a way to protest against cars that doesn't annoy car drivers!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

it’s like protesting against trains in a place where trains are the only way to get to work.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The most successful protests against discrimination of black people at coffee shops were literally to sit there anyway and take the heat

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure the exposure of videos like this are the target, the driver who is getting late to work not that much

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you are going buckle like a belt when a 110 pound kid puts the body on you then you should be smart enough to see it coming.

3 years ago | Likes 246 Dislikes 30

The way he was walking, I assumed he was hammered. Probably barely keeping upright as it was.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 8

You mean with a totally normal gait?

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

"can't you see my headphones and cowboy boots?" "yeah, that's why you got hit."

3 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

"If you gonna be weedy you gotta be smart."

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Considering the guy he shoved was 130?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Considering he was doing something that deserved a hit, he should have been ready for it.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Show me someone who wouldn't fall over if a 110 pound person runs into you like while you're unaware of them coming.

3 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 6

Me. Unless they actually set out to cripple me by breaking my knee sideways, they will simply bounce off my leg.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 20

Show me someone who only read the first half of the sentence!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Yo mama so fat, they'd just jiggle the wiggle a bit

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My momma dont jiggle jiggle, she folds.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not exactly a good example of buckling like a belt. Also not a good example of doing something you know will start a fight.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

But even though it doesn't apply at all, I hadn't see the clip before and it's interesting so +1

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I mean your right but he was kicked into someone out of frame who couod have helped him or completely stopped him from falling

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 1330 Dislikes 49

If more assholes found out like this, there'd be less fucking around.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

I'm on my couch watching this like "just hit him, just hit him, just tappy tap him, just fuckin BOOM, MOTHERFUCKER THAT'S WHAT YOU GET."

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Not really. He was just making the driver go slow. Not really something to get violent about, just annoying as shit.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 46

I am farming downvotes today saying this. Good luck.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 20

It's not like they beat the guy up. I agree that he shouldn't be jumped or beaten, but don't have a problem with pushing him out the way.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

It’s not earned if the car was being an asshole earlier in the vid. I almost got hit by a truck without fault of my own and the driver was

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 38

Livid. What an asshole

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 13

Could something have happened earlier? Maybe, but at some point someone needs to grow up. You are surrounded by sidewalk, and you are 1)

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

2) Not only being a nuisance to the driver but everyone behind him as well. The driver can't move from the road but the pedestrian can. Plus

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

3) If the driver does actually get mad enough to lose his temper, walker is f'd. Walker is dangerously close to the finding out phase.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

There are cars behind that car tho so you'd be punishing them too for no reason

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Consider this: if the driver was a known asshole why would you risk getting run over?

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Bingo. You're breaking the law (jaywalking) and being immoral (an asshole) yet trusting the driver will follow the law and be moral. WOW.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Should be an "Oh C'mon" statute. Push a dude slowly walking in the street blocking traffic? Fine, makes sense

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would not agree he could have fallen over potentially injured or die. What if he was deaf? Or what if the driver did something to deserve it

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

If he was deaf he should still be able to understand he shouldn’t be in the middle of the road

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Still don't think violence is the answer. If it was an elderly person would it be ok to shove them? Fuck all you who think it's right.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"What if he was deaf?" Really? Is he also blind, too? The fuck is he doing in the middle of the street if he's deaf? Especially if he's deaf

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

His mental or physical state doesnt matter violence is for when violence is acted upon you. Just fuck off.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But you're the one that presented this hypothetical state as an excuse. Does it no longer matter because you can't defend it?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It was a hypothetical to get people to empathize with the person being shoved to the ground. It was attemptto make people think before they

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe violence should always be a last resort, but I don't think this guy would have listened to reason if you tried to talk to him

3 years ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 6

Turns out he was deaf.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

source? Looks like he hears the car, turns around and flips the driver off. watch the video.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Even a 100% deaf person would have felt that horn and moved.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

(1/2) To the downvote: you clearly don't know how deafness works. It doesn't remove sense of touch. Deaf people still rely on vibrations.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

(2/2) I have to stomp on the floor or knock on a wall when I enter a room as a warning or my deaf mom loses her shit when I suddenly appear.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I agree. Sure the guy deserved it but if his head hit the curb and he died, the hoodie guy would've gotten involuntary manslaughter charges.

3 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 4

Thats why no one should video of such events. no proof.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Mysteriously there were no witnesses who could identify him

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

He could have run away after :)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Don't worry that guy is so dense that the curb would have broke

3 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 5

Really not a joke. Have a friend whose son was killed when he fell and hit his head on a curb.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 14

Fell by being pushed for being a hackass or accident? Big difference.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Eh, just quickly become a cop and all you get is paid vacation...

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

This exactly. The guy doesn't seem sober. Dropkicking his ass to the curb is dumb in many ways. But hey fuck communication, am I right?

Nah, he's walking right down the middle of that road in a straight line. At the very least he's still more than capable of better judgement

1/ Unpopular opinion: For the vast majority of human civilization, roads have been mostly for people to walk on & changing that to the

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 43

For as long as I have been alive, roads are for vehicles and not walking. How does "the vast majority of human civilization" change that?

3 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

2/ expectation that roads are for vehicles & people aren’t entitled to walk in them is both recent & Capitalist-promoted.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 36

Particularly absurd when it's a parking bay by shops, not the middle of a busy road.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

name the person that's been alive for the vast majority of human civilization, and I'll give them a pass.

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

There was a sidewalk... It's like like he has no where to walk.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My problem with that is this: he has a place where he can walk, safely, where cars cannot go, on both sides of the street. 1)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2) the sidewalks are ample, with decent crosswalks, and the street has speed bumps where cars can't drive too fast. I live in a place w/

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3) no sidewalks, where people have to walk as close to the side of a the road as possible, and people have died. F this guy.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck that. He was being a jerk but violence as a result of inconvenience is an awful take. How about the guy lay off his horn and stop -

3 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 68

Then you believe in a world without consequence for assholes.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

No: I believe in a world where consequences are proportionate.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

As you point out, the consequences of the horn noise fall on more ears than the walker. What does the walker have against those people??

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The walker is not causing the horn. The man pressing the horn is causing the horn. Horns are not supposed to be used to express annoyance -

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Inconvenience? Bullshit. Obstructing the normal flow traffic like that endangers others by potentially causing accidents.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Are you kidding me? This is a parking bay with speed bumps, not a freeway.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

- deafening everyone nearby for no good reason? The kids clearly attacked the guy in the street to shut the horn up.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 51

So they attack the walker, yell at him to have some respect, instead of the driver whose window was down. Interesting world you live in

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 7

2) Then let the driver go right by, and never say a word to him, or direct any anger at him. Yep 100% about driver / horn

Lets modify the situation. Pretend there is an ambulance at the very end of all those cars, or there is one with an injured passenger-

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Desperately trying to get forward. O4 a much more likely scenario. All those people who are being slowed and stuck could possibly loose-

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Their jobs or get reprimand for being late. All because Mr. DickHead has to walk down the road when he has sidewalks on both sides

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Also: do you realise this is a parking bay by the shops with speed bumps? You think an ambulance is going to come down here at speed?

If you want to modify the situation to where it matters, yeah, it matters. In this situation, it doesn't. Simple.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Nope. But that's OK. Imgur tends to shun violence from some, until they agree with the reason. Then it's A - OK.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

And like, there's plenty of justifiable reasons for violence. Self defense or defense of someone else, for example. But this is not one.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Exactly. Being annoying isn't a justification for violence.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 8

Agreed, idk why people think violence is an acceptable response. Could have seriously injured h8m. Classic, 2 wrongs, don't make a right.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

Because you believe in a world without consequences for assholes.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Being annoying isn't a justification for violence in my book. That's fine if it is for you.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Maybe, just maybe, next time he thinks it is a good idea to be a dick, he will remember this incident and choose differently

3 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 8

Sure. But would still be assault if these guys got caught.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 49

In America that's illegal. Also illegal to not let people cross when it's a pedestrian crossing. Cause safety matters unlike you cunts.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And I don't see a pedestrian crossing sign so the guy walking in the wrong place will get arrested if he continues like that.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn’t see nothin’.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's not about the immediate situation. It's reminding the fucker that being an inconsiderate asshole in public has its consequences.

3 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 5

The consequences for those guys if they got caught would be assault charges.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 49

If police had been present to arrest these guys they would have yanked the moron off the street themselves.

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

That is true. He committed a crime. But the other guys did too.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 13

In the UK, kids on push bikes do this to cars. It’s only a matter of time before a law abiding citizen snaps & kills a jerk like him.

3 years ago | Likes 488 Dislikes 53

You mean a complete sociopath without an ounce of sense or patience.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Then they won't be a law abiding citizen then. Recent updates to road rules mean bicycles have priority and they should ride center of lane.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

A Bicycle should be overtaken as if it was a slow car. All said as a cyclist I fuckin hate the red light jumpers and shit cyclists & driver

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

2 lashes for a rude comment, 7 for recklessly changing lanes... You can't be serious with the 'root of all evil bit', surely?!

Tell that to people with obnoxiously loud pipes on their cars.

In the US if someone shot them, we'd call that disgusting and unwarranted. But here it gets upvotes. Alrighty then.

You're absolutely right.

Unless they were black, then it'd be self defense against a violent aggressor.

Yes, that poor man was shot, thats what you just witnessed.

No, replying to a comment where it explicitly said someone will be killed. Maybe you are responding to a different thread...

Some drivers try to kill people that change into their lane because of road rage. Those are the ones they are speaking of.

Naw. They said "law abiding", making it sound like it's a normally reasonable person who just snaps.

Push bike, never heard of it before. It looks like an inbred lovechild of step and bike. Stepbike noo what'r'ye'doin'?

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

push bike is one with pedals, as opposed to motorbike. Is that not a common term where you're from? Haha (I'm from NZ)

So, a ... B-I-C-Y-C-L-E.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

that's what it means, yep

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Just saying, there’s already a word for it. No need to call it something else, specially when the other word means something different.

Google is giving me children's bikes with no pedals. I'm from the Netherlands, this bike would be a disgrace even for a child lol but...

"balance bikes", they're for toddlers to learn to balance on 2 wheels and steer, then when they get a pedal bike they just GO! They're good

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No need for them to use trainer wheels or anything, they just move up to a pedal bike smoothly. My toddlers are SO FAST on them
