I thought I'd share my transformation over the last year with you guys. Good luck on your resolutions and stay strong.

1/5/15

1/5/16

Edit- Fist off thank you for all the kind words it is greatly appreciated, you guys are great. Also, I want to clarify that I have never and will never take steroids. Your comments are very reassuring of my progress though. Another thing I should specify is this is not the first time I have gotten into shape, although it is the best shape I've been in. So for those of you familiar with weight lifting it did not take long for mind muscle connections and movement patterns to be restored.

Alot of you guys have been asking what my routine the past year has been. After the first three weeks of conditioning at home doing a full body circuit every other day I switched to a PPLx2 routine. Push Pull Lower repeated and then a rest day to round out the week. The first six months the gains come easy. I stayed in the hypertrophy rep ranges (8-10) with lots of drops sets (dropping the weight down with no rest time and using appropriate lighter weight). When you plateau you will need to fight for more gains. Rep ranges for me now are usually 3-6 for 5 sets followed by two back down sets in the hyper rep range.

As far as diet goes its been relatively easy for me. I eat the same thing everyday so it's very easy to adjust things. I used to suffer from the Gout as well so I never drink alcohol (shit is so painful). You need to find your calorie maintenance and eat about 400-500 cals above it. Everyone is different though so you need to find your maintenance and adjust accordingly.

I'm out of time as I have to go to work but thanks again everyone and make 2016 your best year!

Would also choose Chris pratt's package. Anna Farris has got that on lock down though.

LOL at the sore losers commenting about steroids. It's called hard work, you bags of shit. Maybe if you tried some you'd look like this guy?

I might be the only one who feels this way but I think you look super fine in your before picture. I mean the after picture is nice too.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

He was pretty normal before. Maybe I'm getting too old but most guys I know look like his before picture or worse..

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Congrats but to be honest, I'd have done you before too.

Agree, I'm working on it.

Damn I assumed the top pic was after weight loss or something till I scrolled down. Nice job.

I am suspicious of steroids and if I am wrong then it's a great compliment to OP. I just don't understand results like this in 1 year.

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

It may be doable with dedication but steroids would make it easier. He may have been big before though and it's easier to get big a2nd time

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It's doable. My friend did it. But he needs to spend around 5 hours at the gym 5/7 days a week at least.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Your friend is probably on gear then

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

This is definitely juice. You don't go from zero to jacked in just a year.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

It's been an entire year. Make your damn bed.

10 years ago | Likes 800 Dislikes 8

REPORTING to your mother.....or your gran, you savage

One thing at a time!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like to see it as on open invitation.... I have an opening to fill ;-)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He doesn't have time! He's too busy getting jacked!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And clean your room! Smh the man can't get anything right other than getting ripped af

10 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

The floor is not a laundry basket young man!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At least the sheets have been changed lol

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I'm sure they're getting changed very often. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why does he have bird shit all over his camera!?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AND GET A BEDSKIRT!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Too busy getting swol bruh!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He just bought new sheets-- it's hard to get them on right in the first few years.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I only make my bed when I have a man coming to visit...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ACTUALLY science now says that NOT making our beds makes it less likely for dust mites to live in the bedding. GO SCIENCE.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Only for a few minutes. Once it's dried from night time sweating you should make it.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Shhhhhhhh no one needs to know that part >.>;

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why? Such a waste of time as far as I'm concerned.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Depends. My bedroom is set up in such a way that if the door is open, it's the first thing guests see when they walk in.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So is mine to be fair, but my bedroom door is always closed. I wouldn't want guests going/looking in there anyway, it's a private area.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who's been working out for the last 6 months and are kinda in a rut, can you post a how?

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Heavy compound lifts. Progressively increase the weight. Eat more calories than you burn. Get 8 hours sleep.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

His gains were insane. Most people cannot do that without extra help. Anyways, eat more, sleep more. Check out r/fitness too

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Steroids

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well done, sir. I weigh only around 150 lbs, and I've been trying to gain weight for a while now so that I can gain muscle. You had a 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/2 good starting base that I'll never have. Good work, OP

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

eat big, lift big. If you aren't gaining mass, eat more. When I bulk, i eat 6-7 big meals a day. I used to be 150ish but I'm at 205.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eat 1gram of protein for each pound you want to weigh. So if you want to weigh 180 eat 180grams of protein per day. As I understand it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I seriously love the color of your walls!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It comes in handy quite often.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Prince is gonna sue you so hard.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Nah, he'll just use something of mine as an album cover and laugh. That's an actual cover he used.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I forgot about that! +1

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn dude, that's one year? Care to detail your diet plan and exercise routines?

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I would also like to know but for more skeptical reasons

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Mix real dedication, proper sleeping pattern, healthy eating(and reaching cal goal) and a good workout routine and this can be accomplished.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

As someone who has "been there/ done that" I know it can..but it took me close to 3 years. 1 year is not a lot of time at all

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My guess is it also involves the body at the start of the workout. Is it healthy and ready to begin building muscle right away etc.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Yea i dunno. I'm willing to give OP the benefit of the doubt, it just blows my mind that in one year something like this is possible.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just think it's hard for you to get the scheduling, food intake, sleep cycle, and proper training down this well all within just a year

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1 year really is not a lot of time when we talk about training / fitness. I am also having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

getting in shape is such a trial and error of all these things, he must at least have a long history with working out

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not saying it's unobtainable but that seems like a ton of growth for 1 year. I know my diet isn't great and I could work out more but1/2

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I'm 4 years into 5 days a week at the gym and this guy makes me look tiny.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Ditto. I have been training for close to 3 years, granted I look pretty good now but I was nowhere close to this after just 1 year. I dunno

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Hopefully you're making a How-To post as well

10 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

I'd be shocked if roids aren't involved. I've known people who go through the motions and don't get close to this in 3+ years.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 10

I thought the same. I would think there would be some stretch marks around the chest/shoulders from the massive gain.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's genetics for you

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

goin through the motions wont get results. hell i go the gym regularly but i KNOW i dont put much effort into it. dont go straight to roids

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Just a guy who builds muscle easily maybe. Mesomorphs I think. I work out every other day and always have but I'll never get big like them

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

No it's very hard to gain that much muscle in that time span without the use of anabolic steroids. As someone who uses them I should know.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Am I the only 1 questioning if steroids was in play?

Very suspicious especially with how OP isn't responding to anyone...most likely OP isn't even the one in those pictures.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is achievable in one year with good genetics. He looked like a fairly big lad in the before photo just with a bit of extra chub.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

you are not

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If you had to ask, than yes it was. Anabolics bitch!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

No

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

It's probable. Worked in a pharmacy with a needle exchange program once - never realized how popular steroid abuse was before then

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I was a all natural physique body builder. Growing that much muscle natural can't happen. Expecially if your start from a turd.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

his package certainly looks smaller...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Steroids cause your dick to get bigger and your balls to get smaller.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably was. He put on a lot of mass compared to the previous picture and his shoulders traps look unnatural.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I KNOW he juiced. It's BS that ppl say nice hard work! Fuck that shit, this bitch didn't work.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Saying he didnt work is false. You still have to work out regularly and keep eating. Steroids expedite the process

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He did work, but he's a cheater and I have no reapect for that. They make hard workers look bad.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You must not be working hard enough then. All I can say is work harder.
