My mumin-law had this happen frequently with her cat (she gave us regular updates on how the babbies were doing because we were adopting one). If she took a nap upstairs she had kitten duty pretty quick!
probably not. it's like how people think it smells like shit if they aren't being assaulted by a perfume/fragrance. their senses have been deadened, and they are too comfortable to retrain them. see also: soda, cigarettes.
It's supposed to be cute but I'm wondering who the psychopath was who thought it was a good idea to just lock a random cat in the same cage as a litter of puppies.
Doesn't look like a random cat. Those puppies would be shredded if the cat didn't want to be there. Maybe a way to teach them not to be aggressive towards cats. I wish our Husky had been friendly to cats.
Could also be the pups, sadly, are orphaned and the Cat is the only "Socialized" Adult in the house. It's cute, but if that's true, they will wind up with a pack of howly Husky House Cats (think of the big orphaned tigers that were raised by a Golden Retriever; they basically wound up a bunch of huge ass Tiger Retrievers that sill listened to tiny Golden mommy after they grew up). ^_- LOL!

Co-parenting at its finest!

It's so cute and I love the interaction but I do wish people would stop breeding cats/dogs)etc.

It's called co-parenting, look it up.

I mean, they might have been really quiet anyways. You do hear the woman ask the dog if they are babysitting.

It really does take a village. Especially if you're a single parent with...what is that, quintuplets?

Cats share parenting duties in cat colonies, she views the dog as her trusted family member.

Which is the most adorable thing about this tbh. Must be a most respectful doggo to be so trusted by her.

We're on the dog's milk, now.
AusThordis
Lasts longer than any other type of milk.
OhIfIMust
Why?
CailinAmaideach
No bugger'll drink it. Plus of course the advantage of dog's milk is that when it goes off, it tastes exactly the same as when it's fresh.
