I would have said clocks.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As a kid, I was sure Tick Tock Clock was going to be the death of me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The way Toad is looking at Mario

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You just walk into the room and TROMP TROMP TROMP

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The second time you enter that fucking level feels like a bad horror movie. U know it's gonna scare you but u still die from a heart attack.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fucking hated that thing.

8 years ago | Likes 250 Dislikes 1

My parents had an alarm clock that sounded like one of those piano ducks. It terrified the shit outta me waking up to it at first.

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

It gave me PTSD and scars for life

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I remember my brother screaming death the first time it moved

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Klong! klong! klong!

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

That fucker was the bane of my red coin hunt

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

But lets talk about the real enemy....the fucking camera angles

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Preach!

Just upvote the Cap gif and make it look like you do. That's what most people do anyways.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In super Mario 64, there was a piano with a red coin on top of it our. Piano turns out to be possessed and jumpscares you

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Just describing it makes my skin crawl. Avoided the ghost mansion solely because of it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can i see it?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't get it

8 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 7

It's a Super Mario 64 thing...haunted piano that attacks you.

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 0

Could you ever kill those things?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. Red coin hidden under it

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Let me drop some education on ya: https://www.mariowiki.com/Mad_Piano

"Nintendo Power guide says it is possible to defeat the Mad Piano, though the statement is false." I TRUSTED YOU AND YOU BETRAY ME?!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I have finished Super Mario 64 multiple times in my childhood, i can't remember that piano. Must be getting old or something..

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You must either be young or had a poor childhood.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 60

Or maybe I had a PS1 during that era and didn't realize I was missing out on some classic games because I was 12.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Mario 64 didn't come with the system the same way Mario Bros/Duck Hunt came with NES or Super Mario with SNES. Had Goldeneye though!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

But if you had a Nintendo 64, you likely had Super Mario 64. It was one of THE games to have.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By the time I got a N64, the games to have were Mario Kart and Goldeneye. I missed that Mario party........ pun intended.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even if you missed the Mario party, if you had a Nintendo 64, you'll wish you missed Mario Party 1-3. They were great, but brutal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Young? The game came out in 96. Being older works just as well.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

And lets not forget the wonderful DS remake!

As a kid, it was the Shadow Temple from Ocarina of Time that scared the crap out of me *shivers*

8 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 1

The deadhand in the well and the shadow temple

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

mine was when ever i run into the chozo ghosts on metroid prime. that screech haunts me to this days

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those weird 'E.T.' looking motherfuckers still haunt me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeaaaah, deadhands

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The redead scared me at first. They suck your life! Literally!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My dry humping you

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The history of Hyrule's ruling family is written in blood... (paraphrase)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like Westeros lol

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But can we all agree, fuck the water temple?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I agree. It took me three weeks before i knew how to get in

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For me it was any underwater swimming in DK 64, that world under k rool's ship was a struggle to get through.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The water temple still gives me nightmares from being such a cunt

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I only played this game as an adult. It seemed rather straightforward to me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The game itself is yeah sure, but water temple has been voted the most hated/difficult quest of all time (from memory)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think if I'd played as a child, I might have agreed. Have you gone back and tried as an adult?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just the other week actually, as you said though as long as ya pay attention to what's going on it's *simple* - just annoying

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It wasn't impossible. But I wouldn't call it straightforward. Lots of going back and raising and lowering the water. Pretty confusing

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is still creepy. But the Forest temple is imo more scary. Lone temple/mansion in the woods, creepy music, twisted halls and wallmasters

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1KqQYsUYIk always reminded me of the forest temple.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always thought the forest temple was beautiful when I was a kid! Still creepy, but beautiful :)

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Favorite temple hands down

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That fucking music. I hated it, yet it was my friends favorite temple

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I liked the music. But the Water Temple was the most difficult one.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The shadow temple I could do. It was under the well that always freaked me out

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

People drank out of that friggen thing

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

HAHA FUCK, explains the residents

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Freaking Dead Hands.... the stuff nightmares are made from.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Argh, yeah. Full on fucking night terrors from those bastards

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I played the whole game except when there were the zombies. My mum had to run through these parts for me.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shat my pants everytime I had to run from the cathedral through the marketplace as adult Link. :v

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Re-deads. Fucking terrifying. That scream.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And then being unable to move while they staggered closer...
