TBF, she was practicing medicine illegally, that is not within the purview of a midwife, so, in my eyes, it is no different than any other "back alley" procedure. That being said, the law should not exist and then women wouldn't feel the need to go to "back alley" abortion clinics in the first place. Also, bonus points, she was Hispanic, so easy target for the Repukes.

She's actually not a doctor, she's a midwife. She is also being charged with practicing medicine without a license, which is more than fair IMO. The true outrage should be that this law exists and so women feel they have to go to these illegal locations to get abortions from unqualified people.
