#34 it's not wholly wrong. Reasons other than money are a major reason people look for a new job. I've seen toxic work environments drive people from high paying jobs to lower paying ones; and employers that paid on the lower end of average retain staff for a long time, even when there was ample opportunities for higher wages elsewhere, because it was an excellent work environment.

Granted, this assumes that they're getting a wage that meets their needs in the first place.

#14 is this loss?

#37 this made my day. An act of terrorism causing the creation of very popular mommy porn which has doubtlessly led to millions of orgasms. I'm going to use this as a sarcastic 'God works in mysterious ways" explanation the next time I have a theological debate.

#21 I'm a dude and women frequently make me uncomfortable by doing this. Let's just say everyone keep your hands to yourselves?

2 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 2

Absolutely. I don't understand how it's so hard for people to just keep their fucking hands and comments to themselves.

#39 Born of the trailer she be, but with many eyes does she see. What could cause her to drink from the blue ribbon? Some say Kosm. (Our girl's got a sick bloodborne tattoo!)

#15 Never take robo-calls, that, and anyone with a thick, first generation Indian/Non-D-Nation accent named “Steve” is **usually not affiliated with a company that's on the up & up!

**(There will always be exceptions, but in most cases it's at least a pink flag if not a red one, and yes, it's unfortunate that the majority of these scammers hail from India and non-developing nations ⇐ I say “non-developing” as they're mostly led by authoritarian rule, so they're not actively developing at all!)

"Under-developed" is another good term for those countries, meaning that they could easily be as developed as the US or Europe if they didn't have economic imperialism and their own governments working against them.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Agreed, I just like being from left field as that's my default setting, so I'm constantly reconfiguring words, yet I am fully aware that my own nation (The US) is not too far from losing its tenuously thin designation as a "developed nation..."

But yeah, crime is often the only option for a lot of people stuck in underdeveloped nations, as it's the only way out of the gutter, as that's where their corrupt policy-makers/law enforcement want them to be!

#4 I'm pretty sure this is from slot machine bezel art rather than a textbook.

I think I actually remember seeing this kind of cover on my old textbooks when I was in school. But that was 20 years ago

How do they put the thumb up to the finger at that angle? Mine is barely at 45 degrees off.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Most likely double jointed fingers, source me I can do this and have double jointed fingers

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Excellent dump. *starts a slow clap*

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Look, you can't just start a slow clap at any ole time. You got to wait for the right moment.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But… how am I going to know when it’s the right moment?

#21 bitch I'm gay and barely verbal, let me poke your upper shoulder, I can't muster speech in public at a volume you'll hear without yelling

#26 this is why one of the flag rules of thumb is "a child should be able to draw it"

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

For some reason that never seem to apply to state/county flags, some of them you need a damn arts degree to draw.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I find this is a uniquely American issue because most European city/county flags are distinct and well designed cos of silly little feudal wars

#13 This is one of my all-time favorite graphic novels, and it has been since I first read it in the early 90s. In fact, all the Sandman and related books are fantastic.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It took a long time, but I got all the issues of Books Of Magic.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Another excellent series! I bought the graphic novels for my then-teenaged, Harry Potter loving neice. Once I was able to convince her that it was created WAY before Harry Potter, she got into it and is now a Gaiman fan.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well done.

The rest of the series has trade paper backs and is amazing.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#16 What does that mean? That isn't eminem, looks like someone from RuPaul's Drag Race.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s “Machine Gun Kelly”

The guy who thought he could a rap war Eminem.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Machine Gun Kelly? I actually remember when this guy was on the radio, looked very different back then!
What convinced him to turn into a JoJo Reference character?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The spanking he got from Em.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol, must've been a pretty big deal! I mean, Eminem isn't even that present anymore nowadays. However, Kelly still seems to have a fine career (he's still on the radio occasionally, haven't heard Eminem in a while now), so apparently going femboy has its market too. Far away from Eminem's domain I suppose tho.
