My main reasons for cutting the cord were to decrease my unwilling subsidies of channels/organizations I don't like. $120/mo with large chunks going to FOX News and the like? fuck that. I miss sports but I have to say I don't miss the Saturday afternoon ear-rape from Aflac and Chik-fil-a.
