#19 there is more to that. Let's say you can lift 200, and they are lifting 300. Yea, that's 100 that you can't lift, but typically if their arms give out, they are still actually lifting, just not to that level. You are simply helping them lift by adding your strength to theirs. In the event of them adding nothing, your strength is typically enough to stop the worst of the injury and calling for help while they can't.

I’m on the side of ‘maybe not suicide”. I read He was arguing with staff that he wanted to go to the pool shortly before, and was very drunk and other types of high. I’m going with accidental fall while trying to access pool from not the first floor.

Either way he was medicating to help suppress his feelings of depression, he was at one point sober, iirc. The root of why he died is untreated mental health illness.
