The Witcher 3 just gained 2nd position in my top 5. (It was an amazing game, however, Shadow of the Colossus will always be the first game that made me cry haha)

I was denied by GOG for transferring Witcher 3 from Steam to GOG. Said okay and bought it twice more on GOG. Gave one to a friend and own 2.

Cyberpunk is the only game that I'm gonna buy the most expensive collectors edition of

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought the main game on sale, loved it, and waited until the expansions were NOT on sale because I thought they truly earned that money!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I made it to lvl 23 and wanted to jump out a window because it's just a gear grind.WOW broke me from playing a gear grind game forever.

CDPR are a genuinely awesome developer.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never thought anything would knock Ocarina of Time out as my favourite game ever, but The Witcher 3 did just that.

Agro :(

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

First game I have bought that has a thank you note inside the case from CDProjekt Red. Those guys are top notch in my book.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Go play the dark souls series!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Played DS 1 and DS 2. Can't wait to grab some cash and buy the third one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

CDProjekt deserves to continue existing for now. GOG is amazing as well when looking for cheap games!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try Divinity Original Sins 2 next

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's too bad the company is now a revolving door of angry employees. I had such high hopes.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As an aspiring games developer, the stories I hear coming from there are my biggest fear, in terms of my career.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Hah..nerd

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Shadow of the colossus still has my favorite soundtrack ever. Many nights studying to that.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

I programmed with it on at work.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought the game and my pc runs it 10 FPS on lowest settings. Still can't stop playing even tho I would consider this speed unplayable

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the first and only game that made me cry so far has been red dead redemption. But i agree witcher 3 is an amazing game!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cried playing SOTC, Life is Strange and Journey. I don't know why I did it tbh haha

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am getting beaten up badly - I wish I knew how to play this game. I want to love this game.It also sucks that they refer to earlier games

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's just...so much to do. I love the game, but to this day, I've not finished it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm thinking of getting back into gaming after 15 years for cyberpunk 2077, because of the attitude of CDProjekt Red.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dang, I need to have one of those images created for Rocket League

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

CDPR is like one of two bigger game dev studios I still have some respect for

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the witcher 3 but I can’t run it

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

You can try walking it, it just won't play as fast.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

At this speed it’s speeding backwards

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make sure to tell it it's a good boy

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I still haven't finished 2. I go to some mining city or something before a war and never played again

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

I only played the first half of Witcher 1 and jumped straight into Witcher 3. Read the character bios and you can piece backstory together

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

read the books. it totally ties everything together

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I bought it in December but I just can’t get into it.... I’ve tried every time I see one of these posts, but I just don’t like it. I’m sorry

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's okay. Can I ask if you watched a recap video for the first two games? I feel like if you didn't, you definitely should.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I play games for their gameplay, no matter how good anything else is in this game I can't enjoy the mediocre combat that is 50% of your time

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's good, but it's not for everyone. Personally I find Pulp Fiction highly overrated

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great game. 3rd on my list.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would love to see the rest of your list haha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My favorite games have good stories. I really enjoy a decent mixture of open world, action/adventure, and RPGs.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So my list is, 1) The Last of Us, 2) Uncharted (series), 3) The Witcher III (haven't played the others), Assassin's Creed (series),

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...and then it gets kind of fuzzy. Loved classic WoW, I like Watch Dogs (doesn't get enough love), Tomb Raider reboots

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Diablo, Far Cry 4/Primal, Borderlands 2, Shout out to Spider-Man 2 for PS2...hehe... the list goes on

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never played a Witcher game, but I picked up the complete version of 3 a week ago or so. I'm looking forward to it.

8 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 0

I was in the same boat. It's an amazing game!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Prepare to say goodbye to 45-90 hours of your life. For the first playthrough, then new game plus

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I bought it almost exactly a week ago and I almost have 30 hours in it someone please help me I haven't slept properly in days

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Book some time off work. You're going to need it.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Same with me. Bought it on a whim one day. Let me tell you... you are in for a wild ride. Easily in my top favorite games now

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

good luck. And Godspeed

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Side quest and level up like a mothafucka

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Play Gwent and do all the side quests

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got a 3 pack of all the games and im hoping to play it soon.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's amazing. Can get reaaaally dark at times too and the characterisation is on point so much. It feels far more a real place than Skyrim.

8 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

Not to say Skyrim isn't great fun, but The Witcher 3 is just incredible.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Witcher 3 might be the best game ever imo

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I enjoyed Skyrim quite a bit. I don't know anything about the world of the Witcher, but it should be a good use of my 100s of hours lol

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just keep in mind that you don't have the same level of customization as Skyrim. W3 is about strong narration and playing a specific role. >

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There was gonna be a second part but feel like I summarized it pretty well already.

The tree is a backstabber

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Wait I haven't reached that part yet. Why should/shouldn't I trust it?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you really want to know, send me a chat. I will tell you. Big spoiler though. P.S. I love the witcher universe, expect some lore

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Aight, I'll wait for it. Thanks for the heads up!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do NOT trust the tree are you kidding me

Can't believe no one's upvoted this it's brilliant

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ex-community moderator for CDPR here. These guys are the real deal, they reply to every email sent to them with genuine passion and humilty.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Was a complete honour and pleasure to volunteer for them during W3 development and launch. Miss them a lot.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sadly they do not treat their employees as well

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I understand the concern but most of the time those allegations are either grossly exaggerated or it's just a case of bad blood with the co.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course I'm just speaking from personal experience with this particular company, could be different in other studios.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I found very little info about this, a few negative reviews on glassdoor is apparently the source. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know some pieces of shit that have posted insanely exaggerated and bad things about companies that they are disgruntled with.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's always nice to see people taking care of their customers!

8 years ago | Likes 199 Dislikes 0

Like EA.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Junior community specialist" aka either a volunteer or minimum wage employee whom it's his only job to respond to stuff lol

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's really telling that "responding to an email" constitutes amazing customer service.

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

In the game industry, you're lucky to have devs even acknowledge your criticism as criticism, let alone respond to emails. *glares at 343*

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

besides cdpr the only nig devs ive seen interact with users regularly is paradox

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*big

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So what are the other games in the top 5? I have been interested in getting the Witcher 3, but haven't gone for it yet.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry, I took too long to reply haha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, no troubles, life stuff happens :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shadow of the Colossus, The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Life is Strange and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd need time to think & whittle it down, but.. Dark Souls, Fallout 3, Half Life 2, Battlefield 3/4,& Metroid Prime immediately come to mind

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dark Souls is awesome. Broke two controllers playing it haha, but it was worth it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought it on a whim and put at least 30 hours on it without any help.. it was the most rewarding gaming experience I have had.. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

..I eventually caved cuz I needed to figure out what the hell to do with all the titanite etc I had been collecting. It was just so vague!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The first time I played, I got stuck in Blighttown. Had a friend helping me. A true friend indeed, dismissed his gf to help me hahaha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

but when the credits started rolling, it was a good day haha
