They often lower speedlimits in areas when they start using these trailers. Tickets as a whole are predatory.

Its entirely dependant on state or province but small cities will change speed limits for police to generate revenue, if you ever drive into a small town and see the speed limit suddenly drop and go back up you found a speed trap.

are you aware that speedlimits are a zoning thing? When you enter a small town you are transitioning from a country road to a residential area.

Speed limits are arbitrary and can be changed and often are. And as i said its dependant on location but small towns biggest revenue generator is speeding tickets. Its less saving the children and more so an extra tax to drive.
