May the best PPE survive.

Is this a game or sport or ...?

Reminiscent of the Eton Wall Game, but without the buggery.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Still safer to play than American football...

I don’t know what I’m watching, but I like it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's like a moshpit with an objective

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Zombies are totally getting their shit together, look at how organized they are!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

@OP I was just reading about this in Obscure Sports Quarterly. Did you see the Amature Curling Championships on ESPN 8?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why does everyone look like a panda?

I'm pretty sure that isn't how you play football

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this looks so freaking fun

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now this. This is a sport I could have excelled in.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah... You have experience in riding the pole?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lol. Well played.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does the orange team have their own guy on a pole? Is this capture the flag, but with people?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes, basically, whoever gets the pole down first. At the beginning you see the red guys run past, theyre attacking the orange team's pole

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, cool! That sounds like a fun game - thanks for the answer!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would love this to become a national past time in the USA.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

In the US they would end up so padded up for 'liability reasons' that it would be like watching bubble football. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

2/2 Most of the world it would be like soccer and within thirty seconds everybody on both teams would be rolling on the floor faking injury.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sarcastaball!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now just imagine if this was in America with black dudes, islanders, and friggin' steroid monsters. I'd watch the shit out of that, bud.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Tongan ping pong!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like one of the reasons this sport works is because its little 5'4" dudes climbing on each other. Square cube law wouldnt be friendly

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love how the first guy basically just exploded through the other side when he charges in.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I would love to play this

8 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

Me too, not many sports that I can play now that I'm graduated

Anyone else wildly entertained by the life and death battles happening in the bottom right corner?

8 years ago | Likes 334 Dislikes 2

I'm pretty sure that is called rape.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am enjoying watching the guy on the bottom left having his foot held onto

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I'm pretty sure one of those guys just got strangled.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Rear naked choke, this game is more fun thatn I thought.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The lifeless bodies in the middle of the frame because each person has another in a hold of some kind XD

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry, but I believe you'll have another opportunity in this community!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I think ESPN is missing out, here. There's a lot of obscure things you don't need the know the rules to enjoy.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I would watch a channel of weird sports. I'd probably like sports more that way.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I prefer to read the articles in Obscure Sports Quarterly.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

I find this very enjoyable to watch, taken in consideration that I have absolutly no clue of what I'm watching

8 years ago | Likes 1382 Dislikes 3

Butts and dicks touching each other. In a way.

Japan...a Japanese sports day specifically

Well to begin with you're watching a screen, and that is as far as I can go.

Japan being Japan, which is why we love them.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Same here man... Exactly the same feeling :D

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

One team has a guy on a pole, the other team wants that guy off the pole. I gathered this from these creature's behavior.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Guys in orange really like the guy on the pole, guys in white are all in a relationship with him and don’t wanna share him. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Whoever in orange can steal a kiss wins. It’s called, blurnsball

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's an asian game

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 4

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think nobody here was thinking about any other continent, considering the weirdness.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Its weird when its foreign to you..for me american football is weird...they hardly kick the damn ball but I still enjoy watching super bowl

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As an American, American Football is weird. It is also controlled by a non-profit corporation that doesn't pay taxes. Criminal activity.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's called football because the ball is a foot long.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Lol.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Bo-taoshi The goal is to make them lower the pole. Two teams of 150 players. It's a madhouse.

I thought it was absurd when they used it in the Assassination Classroom manga. Seeing it here, I realize it was kinda accurate.

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

+1 for assassination classroom

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I normally don’t go for straight joke manga. Thought it looked and sounded awful. Currently on the 15th volume -_-;;

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How long does the orange team have to get the pole down?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Orange also has a pole that White Shirts are going after. Each team is split into Defense and Attack squads that can only do that, so 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

basically until they loose their pole 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was reading into this. They play this in school!! I have missed out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was hoping the goal is to get that one guy off the pole and get one of your guys up on it, like King of the Hill where people are the hill

8 years ago | Likes 149 Dislikes 0

that's what I thought also...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought it was but actually he's there to counterbalance the pole when the attackers start to shift it.

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 1

That makes no sense. Adding weight to the top of a vertical pole only makes it easier to topple

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Only if it's dead weight.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

There's a thin pole on top that he can use to lean away from vertical and provide more leverage against attackers at the bottom.
