Our cats drink from the fish bowl on the kitchen counter... Our beta Stolice doesn't mind and the cats don't try and eat him.. It's strange.

2/2 excess is generally a sign of advanced kidney failure. Cats in the wild don't drink much water as they obtain it from prey. ?

Try putting her water bowl away from her food bowl. Cats instinctively take their pry away from their water source, also try a cat fountain

Yup!! Removed those paired food bowls and put their water on the opposite side of the room from their food. They drink considerably more!

Don't put cat food by water. They naturally don't eat food near water because in the wild that food is almost always spoiled.
