There was just one problem though,

And I have no idea how this one got in here either.
**UPDATE**
So, we have a drop ceiling in the apartment (technically it's one-half of a duplex) and apparently, she got in through a hole in the unfinished roof on the other side of the duplex and found her way into our ceiling. We have since patched the holes so she can't get out and no other animals can get in.
As we're in St. Thomas where there is a massive cat overpopulation problem, we have decided that we are keeping her and will be taking her to Florida when we leave in a couple of months.

It's pretty expensive to live here, so I would only do so if you have a good income. If you do, and you can get a place somewhere out 1/
