It would be a shame if... A better already-existing gaming handheld stole the Nintendo Switch's thunder

Not many people know about this, so here it is:

The first modern handheld gaming device that plays PC games like Skyrim, Sonic Lost World, Bioshock Infinite and can emulate GameCube and some Wii games like Super Mario Sunshine or Zelda Wind Waker. (NSMBW not pictured, but also runs well).

It is the size of a 3DS XL, has a 720P touch screen, full X360 controls (literally), a full keyboard, Mini HDMI out and runs real Windows 10 (not that awful mobile version). Oh, and the analog sticks can switch to mouse control with a physical switch (right analog moves mouse, left analog scrolls, shoulder buttons click the mouse buttons). You just need it set to X360 mode before starting a game.

Battery life heavily varies based on power consumption, but expect around 2 or 3 hours at maximum power consumption (GC/Wii emu or a game like Skyrim). I did manage to squeeze about an hour out of 10% battery with power saving mode playing Bardbarian, to put that into perspective.

System specs:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPD_Win

Beware of old spec listings on the internet from before GPD updated its CPU (originally going to be an X5 chip but upgraded before release and added a fan). Some eBay sellers even still use the outdated spec listings because they were pre order listings and just didn't update them.

Intel Atom X7 Z8700 CPU @2.4GHz
Intel HD 405 Graphics up to 600 MHz
720P multitouch screen
4GB LPDDR3 RAM
Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz)
Bluetooth 4.0? (Not sure, can't find 100% confirmation and I haven't tried any Bluetooth devices with mine)
Full X360 controls literally
Full keyboard
64GB eMMC internal storage
MicroSD slot up to 128GB
Full USB 3.0 slot
6700MAh battery
Mini HDMI out
USB C charging
Headphone jack
Mono speaker
Fan with physical switch (off/low/high)*

*You can't hear the fan over the game even on high

I have some gameplay videos on my Youtube channel showing performance of some games like Skyim and Bioshock Infinite:
https://youtube.com/channel/UCZyHFvlLeCWrJs3ljDkoF0g

Here are some games that I have personally played on my GPD Win.

This is Skyrim (Steam). Runs 30FPS average at 720P with minimum settings.

Super Mario Sunshine (emulation). Runs full speed. Use the DirectX 12 plugin on the Dolphin V5.0 emulator.

You need to open the graphical settings menu after starting it and then close it to get full speed (Odd bug).

Zelda Wind Waker (emulation). Runs mostly full speed, just with some occasional slowdown.

Mario Kart Double Dash (emulation). Same as Wind Waker.

Sonic Lost World (Steam). Runs locked at 30FPS but you need to lock it to 30FPS manually otherwise it runs in slow motion like an emulator.

Right click Sonic Lost World in Steam game list, click properties, click launch options, type in "--F30" without the quotation marks.

Trine 2 (Steam). Runs at minimum settings 720P with 30FPS average.

For this picture, I accidentally forgot to set the controller to X360 mode with the physical switch before starting the game, so it loaded up the touch screen buttons. I also added a caption with the name because it's not obvious from the title screen.

Bioshock Infinite (Steam). Runs at minimum settings, 720P with 20-40FPS average.

Insaniquarium Deluxe (Steam). Runs full speed (older 2D game so doesn't run at 60FPS but I forgot the exact amount it runs at).

Runescape (3) the new NXT game client. I have not tested Old School Runescape because I don't play that but it probably runs fine.

Runs at 30FPS average with minimum settings except medium draw distance and textures on (or compressed, not any noticeable difference in performance or visuals so I do compressed textures to play it safe).

Bardbarian (Steam).

A 2D game so it runs excellently even on power saving with CPU limited to max 60% power. Really great battery life playing a game like this with WiFi off.

Race The Sun (Steam). Also runs great on power saving mode.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Steam). An old game so it only supports resolution of 800X600 and controller settings must be set up manually.

This picture is from when I first took mine out of the box and started installing basic stuff on it. It's excellent as a web browser, especially since you're not limited to mobile websites with gimped functionality like on a phone.

I'm looking at you, Google with your mobile website not allowing advanced search or reverse image search. And Imgur for not allowing you to edit or view comment context on mobile (app or website).

Dog tax

Bardbarian.

Well, as a grown ass adult I'll stick with my laptop

Did some digging around and I'm seeing a lot of customer complaints about these guys. Doesn't help they are also all sold out.

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

I have one. I enjoy it, but A LOT of people are having problems with it. Plus I kept my expectations low. (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Great for emulators, and indie games from steam. But AAA titles are not going to run great with the specs it has. Plus it overheats easily

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Too bad it looks like fucking ass.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Does it have Tetris?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That thing is weaker that last gen consoles and will cost $499 retail. It's a terrible waste of money.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This looks fucking terrible. People buying a games system don't want to fuck around locking frame rates. They also don't need a keyboard.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm right with you on not wanting to tweak settings just to get it to function, but I sorta need a keyboard for my games...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have one of these and n64 games run slow as an old mole

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'll admit I actually haven't tried N64 or PS1. Have you applied the BIOS modifications to improve performance from Phawx's video?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

For this sort of stuff why not just use steam streaming to pretty much anything? It won't run Switch exclusives, so won't steal any thunder.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's basically a netbook...a tiny pos laptop

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

PSA: KOTOR is on the android app store. the complete game.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's like a PC and a handheld, but crappier and mashed up like mashed potatoes and baby food!

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 3

Didn't they reveal the switch a few months ago?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I meant their event with more details. Their "reveal" was barebones.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 24

this shit is my jam

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So it's a mix between a Windows phone, a blackberry, and and Xbox.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

More like a tiny laptop with gaming controls. Windows phones don't run real Windows so they can't play Windows software. Just knockoff Andr.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 18

I buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games, and exclusives, everything else on PC.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Then consider this the PC equivalent to the Switch. Get your third party games on PC and you get it on your desktop and your handheld PC.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Those specs are terrible.. I'm sure after Thursday's presentation you'll take back this ridiculous post. It's ok to hate Nintendo

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

And you can't play breath of the wild on that POS

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

No way in hell he'll take it back. He spent $350 on the thing and already has his mind made up before knowing much of anything about the NS.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nah. I don't get buyer's remorse. Unlike a console, I don't care whether it flops massively, because it doesn't need support like a console.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

The only way it flopping would negatively affect me is no updated V2 later. Because I get new games regardless because it's a PC.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I don't get some people man

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It isn't always the best specs that make a system. There were better options to the GB, but it won because it had the best total experience.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I didn't read this, but I see your superior device has a thousand tiny buttons on it. Based on that alone, fuck that thing :/

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's just a keyboard. It has full X360 controls that literally is seen as an X360 controller. You don't actually game with the keyboard.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

Its okay to not like Nintendo, but this makes you look dumb.

9 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 4

With a username like his, you'd think otherwise.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OP is inflating the average FPS. In his gameplay video of Skyrim, the frame rate only reaches 30 at the loading screen and usually runs [1]

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

slow down whenever it's running below the intended fps, which I suspect will be often for most games. [3]

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

at around 20. This thing will also be garbage for GC emulation as the game speed is locked to the frame rate so the game will actually [2]

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's because I used the low preset instead of the minimum settings. I actually get 30FPS at minimum. I just didn't record min settings.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 15

Let's see minimum then. I'd also like you to address what I said about Gamecube emulation.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

actually happen slower when it's not running at 100% consistently. [4]

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

most of the time, dipping as low as in the 60s at times. I'm not just talking about dropped frames here, everything in the game will [3]

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

at the top and observe the slow moving timer in the upper right, you'll see it runs at around 70-80% the speed the game is meant to run [2]

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Here's a video of Mario Kart running on the same CPU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPMYH26ingc If you look at the emulation speed [1]

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

>.> WHY IS NOBODY YELLING ABOUT THE PLASTIC COVERING BITS YOU LEFT ON THE SCREEN AND LOGO?!?!?!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hey I made a post and said I would peel it off on video if it got to FP. It got downvoted to oblivion. I don't remove those things.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

I doubt a system that already exists is going to steal it's thunder. There's usually a reason no one knows about it

9 years ago | Likes 73 Dislikes 3

Not always true. Sometimes superior products lose to inferior ones because the inferior one had better marketing or made it to market sooner

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 9

Betamax!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would be a reason though? I'm not saying they're crap and that's why they aren't popular, I'm saying a product that already exists is 1

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Not going to steal the thunder of a new product, because it's not suddenly going to surge in popularity, for the same reasons it's not 2

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Popular currently. 3/3

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

But this isn't really sure. It's great at being a Windows based gaming PC that fits in you pocket, but compared to a regular PC, laptop, 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Definitely not saying this is a superior product.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

or console it performs at much lower levels. Not only that, the Switch will have games on it that this device won't be able to play. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is not a superior product. The specs are bad and gaming at 10-20fps on minimum settings sucks.

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

When did I saw this superior? Just made an observation that the best product doesn't always win. Doubt this thing is the best product though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

I didn't say you did. Just informing anyone who might be confused by OP's shilling.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The specs on Switch is also rumored to be and very heavily downclocked when not docked on a TV. So it'll definitely perform better than

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 20

They're rumored specs though. For all you know Switch is worlds better at a cheaper price point.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

The Switch while being an actual portable, and most likely while the Switch is docked it still won't match it. Nintendo likes weak and cheap

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 17

Stop shilling. This thing is junk in a nice chassis.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

"It's RUMORED to be downclocked a non-specific amount so this portable with netbook specs and shitty eMMC storage will definitely be better"

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

But if you have to run all the games on lowest settings AND you only get it for 3 hours. What's the point?

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 3

Similar to Switch on battery.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 42

But to play skyrim on lowest setting and lag is a big bummer for me. I'm not saying that the switch is better tho.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

30FPS is perfectly playable. Or do you consider PS4 and XB1 unplayable trash because most of their games target 30FPS?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

Yeah actually. But even the 'unplayable trash' push Skyrim Remaster 1080p ultra quality on 30fps. So...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I rather go for 'easily moveable' device with gpu n better battery life. Just sayin.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I don't think a laptop with a dedicated GPU would have better battery life.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 18

For the same setting, I'll say leaps and bounds better. Plus bigger screen and full size keyboard.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And yet, my 15" MacBook Pro with dedicated graphics can get 7 hours while playing emulation using a Bluetooth controller.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Recent suggestions is that the Switch will come out at $215 usd. That is $115 less than this and hooks up to the TV. Just a thought.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

It has mHDMI, so it can hook up to TV/monitor. It also has USB, so you could hook up KBnM and use it like a regular (albeit slow) computer.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That said, the Switch will probably be a better gaming platform.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Absolutely a better gaming platform. I already bought three tickets to the hype train, shit's gonna be the new GameCube.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This thing retails for $500. You only get the $300 price if you support the kickstarter.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Uhh. No. It goes for $300 to $400. Just because you see a few eBay listings for $500, that doesn't mean it goes for that. People try to get

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Outrageous prices on eBay all the time, but those don't sell. The ones with the actual value sell ($300-$400 for the GPD Win).

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But can Switch play games like Skyrim?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 18

I wouldn't be surprised if Switch runs Skyrim 30FPS at lower than native 720P in handheld mode and 720P in full power on the TV.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 22

I'm not up on the latest specs out the switch. It's going to be able to run non Nintedo games? Like stuff off Steam?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It won't have Steam. It looks like Skyrim will be one of the launch/early titles though.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Thank you for the clarification.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The trailer for Switch literally shows it running skyrim.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Yes, their official trailer features Skyrim. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiJmy_j1O-g

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I highly doubt Switch will be under $300. Nintendo likes their profits on underpowered devices.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 58

You're forgetting the Wii was originally priced at $250

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Consoles are loss leaders. Nintendo makes money on games and accessories.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Nintendo doesn't do that. Sony and Microsoft do.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 36

Nintendo does it as well. Don't put other products down just because you want to defend your purchase.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Nintendo has already said they won't sell it at a loss.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

You have no idea what you are talking about.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

They've already said that they are not going to take a loss on the Switch with the pricing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 26

Nah mate I just play those on my PC

9 years ago | Likes 214 Dislikes 10

You can make a Raspberry Pi version, minus the shitty pc games (on purpose) for 1/4 of the price easy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

You'd have to specifically port them over. And it won't be a handheld PC.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Nah, there's an OS called Retropie that's just emulators, 30 or so, from N64 and PS1 down, plus handheld like GBA. Just made one with 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

7,000 or so games stored on it for my brother in law for Christmas.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My thoughts exactly. Some games, like Skyrim, deserve a full size monitor.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

All I gotta say is playing any of those games at 20 - 40 fps for $300-$400?? Nah dawg, I'll stick with my 3ds xl

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Your PC isn't portable.

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 155

Neither is the Switch really, not in the sense that you'd take the pad out of your house. What you're thinking of is the 3DS or a laptop.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah but most of those games arent exactly what id want to play on the go and 2 hour battery life aint exactly much

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

Still pretty cool though!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not with that attitude it's not

9 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 1

I call that a "Laptop" it's new.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

How much?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

$300 to $400 depending on where you buy it. I got mine off eBay for $350. Check eBay and Amazon.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 10

I cant believe you fell for that. PC Master Race got you monologuing.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Uhh. That's a genuine question. The price questions have been getting downvoted for some reason.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Why the fuck is this downvoted to hell?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Downvote fairies. I don't care about the points. I've probably lost more on comments than I gained from the post. IDC if I lose 3X as much

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 19

Points as I gained from the post. As long as it gets more awareness. Though it's odd this counts as FP at only like 300 points.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 19

In this case he's just flat out wrong. Laptops are pretty much just as portable, can run the games better, and have better battery life.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No. They are not. GPD Win is the size of a 3DS XL and fits in your pocket. Laptops don't fit in your pocket.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

If you're not playing it from your pocket it doesn't really matter where you carry it as long as you can carry it and play it without setup

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because OP is a shill peddling a netbook in a gaming chassis and claiming it's better than a modern console that hasn't even released.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

This thing is fine for older emulation (SNES, N64, Sega, etc) and games that aren't very graphically taxing but OP is way overselling it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm trying to get some awareness for an awesome indie gaming device that's one of a kind. What's so wrong about that? You can decide on your

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

Own whether you want it. I'm just letting people know it exists so they can research it some more themselves.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

There is literally no other handheld gaming PC currently available that's not like 10 years old.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

This nigga was like what's laptop

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Laptops and windows tablets are and the latest generation of intel cpus have integrated graphics that run games very decently.

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

Integrated graphics is like the autistic cousin of real graphics

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those are not portable, just easily moveable.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 71

The whole point of the laptop was to make a portable pc...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And the difference is?

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

The difference between something that you can carry in your pocket and easily pull out at a random time, and something you have to plan to

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 43

The definition of portable is something that can be easily carried or moved. You mean "pocket sized" or "handheld"

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Why the fuck am I just hearing about this now!? With a product like that, they need to work on their marketing. Price?

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 10

I have one of these. Quality control issues plague it and not all units work correctly. Ask me anything else you'd like to know.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

According to wikipedia, it's Chinese/Japanese. The creators simply might not have bothered targeting western markets.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah. Started on Indiegogo and started retail release in October/November 2016.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Um gonna say that it's out of your price range.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I have one of these. Quality control issues plague it and not all units work correctly. Ask me anything else you'd like to know.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those specs are junk. Save your money.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

There's always a good reason. Buyer beware.

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 3

Caveat emptor. Why do I only remember the useless shit I learned in school?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The useful stuff you actually remember you take for granted while the useless stuff you remember sticks out.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Costs $500. Lol.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Costs $300-$400. Check eBay and Amazon.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Just checked. Still costs $395 at lowest price, brand new.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just checked. Still costs $400.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i mean, it sounds like all kinds of illegal, so maybe marketing isn't the best idea

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

The way OP is using it would definitely be illegal if he does not own legally purchased copies of the games being emulated.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What about it could be illegal?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

the only things you can play on this thing are illegal roms

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It's windows 10, you can play whatever you want through steam, nobody said you had to use it for nintendo games

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

This thing is just a handheld PC. It's no more illegal than any other PC is, since emulators run on those too.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

right... except pc's aren't built specifically to run illegal emulators

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Firstly It's just a miniature laptop + gamepad. Secondly, emulators are not illegal.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

$300 to $400 depending where you buy it. Check eBay and Amazon.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 20

That's USD? A little pricy for a hand held

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

USD.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Bit useless in Australia though, its gonna be around $600 AU and the switch will only be around $400

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Uhh, I fail to see how price conversions to othee countries is relevant. X AU $ is equal to Y US $. That's like complaining it's 25000 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

Yen because 25000 Yen is a big number (idk what 25K Yen becomes, pulled that out of my ass).

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

Its often more expensive to buy things in Australia, Due to shipping laws they can monopolize the price and sell for more than conversion.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's still not their fault. That's on Australia.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Eh, I prefer to play my Nintendo games legitimately.

9 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 6

Its nice hearing from Nintendo when they aren't sending you cease and desist orders.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

You make it sound like stopping people from infringing on their copyrights is a bad thing...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When they are legitimately available...IT'S BEEN HOW MANY YEARS NINTENDO!? WHY ARE THE FIRE EMBLEM GAMES STILL AMBASSADOR ONLY!?

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

On the 3DS? There's only one Fire Emblem game in the ambassador bundle: Sacred Stones.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

that's still more than nothing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

JUST RERELEASE THE IKE GAMES. 80 BUCKS ISN'T WORTH IT FOR JUST A DISK

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I tried emulating for a while. 'Never worked right. Now I've just bought my own SNES, N64, Gamecube and Wii. Good times.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

I'm with ya. Emulation doesn't feel right at all to me anyway. Even legit Virtual Console games just feel wrong to me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn't a Wii play GC games just fine?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maybe. Even if it did I'd just get a gamecube anyway.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Snes gamecube and the wii all emulate perfectly

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, "perfectly" isn't exactly accurate but like 99% of games are playable, some with minor issues, at worst.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

For some, maybe. I couldn't figure out how to stop even SNES games crashing. Besides, I like it better authentic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try the Higan emulator. It's a high accuracy emulator for NES, SNES, GB, GBC and GBA.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks but I'm way past that. I have almost every console I want, and I'm in the process of building a retro collection.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
