So weird seeing a place where you have been. I have photos from my wedding taken 400m from this spot. It’s in Mariinskyi Park, Kyiv, Ukraine

Always fear an old man in a young man's profession.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Youth and enthusiasm is no match for old age and treachery.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes be honest, rollerblades were in fashion when he was prolly at his peak.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nice goin', carl

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

roller blades were fun, but they always hurt the feet so much.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The children of the 90s were skating Kings and queens do not mistake their age for their skills

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good damn hipsters.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This GIF is actually older than the skating dude.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not shown in this clip: the hardest part of learning to Rollerblade...

Do the five stairs

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Older men never seem to forget the way to skate like a kid

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hal? Is that you?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"you can't skate until you tell your parents you're gay"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All I can think of is that scene in Malcolm in the Middle with Bryan Cranston skating. . Haha.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

You mean that one episode...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's where my mind went, too!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fancier than Fred Astaire.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

You take that back

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fred would snap an ankle if he heard that. this is about as fancy as a background dancer in one of his big routines. you want fancy?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Google up videos of Sofia Bogdanova

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

now she's got some "fancy like Fred" moves going on.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fancier than Ford Fiesta

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's an older meme, sir.....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But it check out

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is this individual calling this white man a n**ger?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I'm pretty sure the captioning is total bullshit.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

It's fake but the term niggA with a soft it commonly used directed toward all races in the US.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

No, no it's not, not at all. That couldn't be more wrong

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not just talking out my ass here, if you'd like me to explain specific circumstances and experiences I am willing too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My extensive inner city experience would disagree, but I'm certain what everyone here has gathered from the internet is more reputable.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've lived in the city for 6 years, never once have I heard it thrown around casually by anyone who wasn't black

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You misinterpreted my statement. I did not say it was used by non-blacks, but that people who use it, mostly black, call all races "nigga".

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don’t forget kids, roller blading is...

8 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 22

Are you kidding? I used to get all the chicks in middle school with my inlines.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We use to call people on blades fruit booters.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

And then you grew up and let people have their hobbies without unnecessary judgement?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

I was a fruit booter. still have my blades even played street hockey still had the title.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Skaters never drop the tribalism in my experience.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most people that use their sport or hobby as a social status are shit tho

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If he's the kind of person to use the term "fruit booters," I'm gonna guess nah.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It's a term for the equipment not really the person.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

8 years ago | Likes 143 Dislikes 0

Well.... That's just about the most beautiful fucking thing I've ever seen.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

i'm great on quad skates, not so much on inlines tho. this is awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 1

Whoever practiced both on quad skates and inline ones knows that quad skates RULE!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

I grew up ice skating a lot. I can't do quad skates, but inlines are a cinch, because they are basically ice skates.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Yet at the same time my skating always gets messed up for a couple minutes after a day out on inlines

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can do neither, because I'm unathletic and don't care enough to change that anytime soon.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i skated here and there as a yoot, but i didn't get really good on quads til i started playing roller derby. not playing right now but

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

skating is still one of my favourite things to do, for exercise or just for fun.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Roller-Hockey Champion of Under 14's in Cyprus 1998, check that bitches. yeeaah.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember my first time on ice skates, it was a school trip. Classmates told me it isn't at all the same. Then I'd snatch their stuff 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 and laugh myself stupid at the little shits trying to chase me and faceplanting all over the place. Made enemies that day. Worth it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m do a lot of of aggressive inline, doing jumps, spins and grinds etc, usually 2 wheels per boot, but there’s no way i can do that.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

aggressive quad skating here...do you skate at skateparks or just out n about?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where ever there are rails and ledges, I’m there. But I prefer parks tbh

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I always felt like I was going to fall over with roller skates, but inlines felt very natural to me. I wore down plenty of wheels as a kid.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I used to think I wasn't good at sports, got into Roller Derby, turned out to be genuinely good at it. Aaand then my knees quit on me.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i didn't want to quit but i was being stalked & harassed by an official and the league choose him over me. their loss. i miss it, but not

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

enough to put myself in that environment. i'll go back to the sport when i move outa here, better leagues exist.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am so sorry that happened to you. That's unacceptable.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thx kindly. they're happy to call out bad behaviour in other leagues, but not their own. confrontation is too scary i guess, esp. when they

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

can't keep good refs due to treating them poorly. they'd rather cling to crazy a-holes they can manage to get...like i said, their loss. 8)
