Someone asked to have these posters separated into phone wallpapers, so here they are! (The first 3 have the border, the last 3 don't)

The Fellowship of the Ring (bordered) (800 × 1617)

The Two Towers (bordered) (800 × 1617)

The Return of the King (bordered) (800 × 1617)

The Fellowship of the Ring (borderless) (756 × 1574)

The Two Towers (borderless) (756 × 1574)

The Return of the King (borderless) (756 × 1574)

EDIT: So this is what takes me to FP for the first time.

Now the question is which one do I use?

Oh ya now where can I buy bigger versions of these as posters for my house or office?

The artist doesn't seem to have them for sale on his site. He has some prints, but none of these, I'm afraid. http://markomanev.com/projects

I don't think the two towers is referencing orthanc and barad- dûr. I think the 2 towers are minas tirith and minas morgul.

I’ve wondered that myself, but I’m not as in to the lore as others.

I have no idea why you'd think that when the two largest threats in middle earth reside in two towers.

Book never specifies, there's a few candidates available. The film specifies.

There are 5 towers (iirc) that are important through the books, Tolkien never points out which are the two mentioned in the title, though

True but minas tirith and minas morgul are the towers of sun and moon.

No I‘m pretry sure it does. The „alliance“ between Sauron and Saruman in their respective towers.

The books emphasize Minas Tirith and Minas Morgul. The movies thought it easier to represent Sauron and Saruman as allies. 1/2

In the books, the two big bass were actually opposed and equally seeking the ring for themselves. 2/2
