Put...put your dick in it

I haven't seen anyone post much about these interesting creatures so I thought I'd give it a try. This is a sea lamprey that a customer of mine caught on Lake Michigan last summer. The sea lamprey entered Lake Michigan through the Atlantic, making their way to Lake Erie then through through the Welland canal bypassing Niagara Falls. Between these and commercial fishing, the native lake trout population was decimated. Lampricides have kept their numbers in check in recent decades and there is a large population of stocked lake trout in Lake Michigan once again.

This view is of the mouth. It attaches to an unsuspecting fish and eats blood and other bodily fluids before detaching. Fish usually die of infection or the bite itself.
