Begotten

God commits suicide scene- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MqPkWZxmMQ

whole movie- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHXgNn18z90

This gory and entirely visual film tells the surreal tale of the death and rebirth of gods. Ultimately it is a lot of confusing and strange stuff but i'l be Damned if I'm not creeped out by it, especially the suicide scene

Dumplings

Trailer- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ixdhYr3a6g

In this film, Mei is a doctor who has performed a lage number of illegal abortions in the past. She looks incredibly young for her age – her secret: home-made dumplings from a special recipe of – you guessed it – fetuses. A neglected wife of an executive is looking for youth and is willing to pay any price for the dumplings. The ingredients of the dumplings are rare, but then a mother with her pregnant daughter shows up…

Men Behind the Sun 1988, Mou Tun Fei

Torture Scene- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blI1CLco4W4&oref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DblI1CLco4W4&has_verified=1

The film is a graphic depiction of the war atrocities committed by the Japanese at Unit 731, the secret biological weapons experimentation unit of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The film details the various cruel medical experiments Unit 731 inflicted upon the Chinese and Soviet prisoners at the tail-end of the war. Because of its graphic content, the film has suffered mass controversy with censors all over the world. It was originally banned in Australia and caused public outcry in Japan to such an extent that director T.F. Mou even received threats on his life. The film is extremely controversial for its use of what Mou claims to be actual autopsy footage of a young boy and also for a scene in which two cats are thrown into a room to be eaten alive by hundreds of frenzied rats (the rats are later set ablaze).

Lights Out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNbJE0y29_c

Lights Out is a short horror film that follows a woman readying herself for bed, only to find that something may be lurking in the shadows. At just under three minutes, this short video has us wanting to leave the lights on full time.

Vice - Interview with a cannibal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BosZxa1bYcE&oref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DBosZxa1bYcE&has_verified=1

Issei Sagawa is a Japanese man who in 1981, while in Paris, murdered and cannibalized a Dutch woman named Renée Hartevelt. After his release, he became a minor celebrity in Japan and made a living through the public's interest in his crime. In this interview he calmly discusses eating the woman, extremely unsettling

Goddess Bunny

A lot of people will scoff at this one but I cant help but be creeped out everytime I watch it. For those who havent seen it it simply is a person doing a tap routine, however that person is a transvestite with Polio and it is (IMO) difficult to watch this without feeling uncomfortable.

Mentally Disturbing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcxGW5CT-Qo&oref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DlcxGW5CT-Qo&has_verified=1

I don't even know how to describe this one, very strange mix of images, jump scares etc. Still pretty difficult to watch at times

Ghastly- Mentally Disturbing Three

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdKjX0YA6cM

Another mashup video but even though it kinda gives me a headache there is quite a bit in the video that makes you jump

That first one really fucked me up....poor Nicky...damn I will never unhear that....

Thank you for the warning about the cats being eaten by rats, now I know never to watch that one.

that first one is why I voted for the assisted suicide here in colorado. if you're gonna kill yourself, don't make your family find yer body

If you squint your eyes, and focus a foot to the left of the screen, it doesnt look that scary!

I wish we could all stop pretending that begotten was anything more than a super pretentious bad art house film.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What the fuck conceivable reason was there for feeding a cat to a horde of rats and then setting them on fire?

9 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

Shock value so the film could more effectively demonize Japanese people, most likely.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Not science. They tortured the cats and then the rats for that movie (Men behind the sun).

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Science! No seriously I was wondering the same thing.

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

It's an Asian barbecue.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

So was the lights out movie based off the short video and did the creator sign a movie deal then?

Why would you not get a hotel room that night.

I know, right? Assassins Creed right out the window and go for a fucking eight hour walk before I sleep up in that bitch.

That short has been around for a long time. Movie was inspired by the short.

Begotten is a great movie, really creepy and disturbing. The kid on the suicide call though... :/ poor girl.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Apparently I'm in the minority that thinks trivialising someone's suicide as 'a creepy thing to watch on YouTube' is fucking disgusting.

9 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 9

Fucking right it is.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It is horrible, but you are just more sensitive compared to us. Your emotions might be pushin down on the impact of it. Just don't watch it.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

If there is anything to be sensitive about I would say this is it

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

2) internet tough guy over it.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

1)Yeah, fuck off. I said it was disgusting to trivialise some guy's suicide and plaster it on the internet as 'nightmare fuel'. Don't go all

That said, there is the intended meaning to this film. Director's idea. But it's not as important as in case of normal films.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I found Un Chien Andalou at the same time as Begotten a few years back Not as dark but just as weird and out there. Kinda David Lynch-esque

One fact of 731 is that the US basically pardoned them in exchange for the data and records. As a Japanese person, sickening all around.

same with the Nazi scientists, bring em back to America and put em on the payroll

I had to write a report on it at uni for Ethics and the law in medicine. It will haunt me forever.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just finished watching it, so interesting if your into interment camps, I'm sure USA used some tactics on others when they got the intel

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also the part where the guy was in a gas chamber and had a full prolapse, would not recommend for datenight (unless thats your fetish)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Medical science progressed significantly. Our life expectancy is basically bc of those bastards

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 14

Well that's just straight up false.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sure but that would mean my medical physiology book should go in the trash along with most modern med Sci curriculum

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

I think a lot of the info was also stolen by USSR, but obviously you don't bring stolen info to the court.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

to be fair they did have alot of data that has helped the rest of society though they got it in the worst ways possible.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looking up some of the experiments they performed, it really sickens me that they lived out their lives after killing so many people.

9 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 1

The US researchers who looked into the data obtained basically said that the data was worthless. They were just torturing people for kicks.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

That's humanity; there's always going to be some who will redefine our lowest point. We can only rise above in the opposite direction.

That's not an opinion, nor is it by any means a justification for what they did.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 10

Ok...with you on the justification. But how is it not an opinion?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's a fact that there were real, objective benefits to their... research. An opinion would be to say that what they did was a good thing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

No, only U731. Most of what we know about frostbite comes from them. The Nazi "research" was scientifically basically useless.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 5

Wait, US researchers basically said their data was worthless.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

But their scientists got lots of practice with rockets that turned out to be pretty valuable

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I specifically meant medical research. Engineering and especially weapon engineering were among the top of the world, which is why they 1/+

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

2/2 were offered deals or straight up abducted and smuggled out of the country.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Quick question, what types of experiments did they do? Surely it cant be as bad as what the third reich did... could it?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

exposing peeps to freezing temps then putting their body parts in boiling water, watching their body literally fall off the bone.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Worse. Unit 731 deliberately exposed people to chemical and biological agents and kept them alive to vivisect or study effects until death

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

But didn't the reich experiment with cutting off twins' bodyparts and sewing them to the other twin to see if it would work?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That sounds like some skin lampshade nonsense
