A lot of farmers (Not all, I know many who didnt) are republican because their fathers were and their fathers before them. They hardly watch the news, it's just part of their lineage unfortunately. And they keep voting him in because that's what they've been conditioned to do, and because there was a time long ago pre-70's when the Republican party did fight for the Working class. That time hasn't existed in almost half a century.
And we ignored the lessons from the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Cheap little drones piloted by teenagers can defeat tanks, naval destroyers, infrastructure, and buildings.
Also just a question that’s been on my mind lately. What the hell do we do after all this? A lot of folks have shown every bit of their asses though this whole situation. Are we gonna have to do a Nuremberg trials sequel
I'm tired of neighbors just being nasty to other neighbors. I wish there was just consensus on what we need as a country and then have it actually enacted. I'm tired of paying 40% of my paycheck to taxes (state and federal) and having nothing to show for it.
Their kids dying in school shootings wasn't the line. Not sure their kids dying in Iran would be the line either. Now *them* being at risk of dying might get their attention.. Might.
Yeah... About that... Trucks need gas too. Like the trucks that deliver goods and food across the entire country. Gas prices are gonna mean everything from food to soap could get more expensive.
Love not paying for gas (or maintenance really), but not looking forward to the cost of basically all goods going up.
Yeah, I guess I can't escape that part. I'm avoiding the *directly* paying for gas part but not the "watch our fuel-based economy crumble in real-time" part. I do love the fact that I have 40,000 on my car and have paid about $400 so far in fuel for the few times I was caught out in the wild and had to pay for charging. There's a solar store 1km away that charged 1 cent per kWh so I can top off for about 50 cents. Much further away is a totally free one. It's nice.
It is a nice perk. As a double bonus, I'm an electrician, so I was able to replace my panel, install a Level 2 charger, and because of a deal my power company has, they paid me MORE than it cost me to do all of it, lol. Wound up actually making like $200 off of upgrading my own house.

I don't feel like my life was enriched by knowing that conservatives do some weird dance on social media.

These people are irrational. They all belong in an asylum or dead. They are already killing a lot of people for no reason other than their hate.

Not only they don't care, BUT, they will ALSO blame Biden.
Listen, if they had normal brains they would not be either Republican or have voted for Trump.

If only any of them gave any kind of shit about anything other than ruining life for brown people they’d realize they’re ruining their own lives.

Sure, it wasn't CSA that was the line for MAGA. But it might be $5/gallon gasoline or their kids dying in Iran or global nuclear war.

My EV is plugged in at the local free charger so I'm at least avoiding the gas part.
