The Rig

My buddy bet that I couldn't make a rig that met VX3 standards for under $20. Not my best work, but I won myself some good beer out of it! And yes, by the way, the chassis on the field manipulator sub frame is a disposable cup.

I was honestly surprised at how well this makeshift super-toroidal function matrix actually worked. I could actually see myself using this in a proper build.

I know this sub ansible oscillation point is unshielded, but the low voltage in the old cell phone parts I used means it won't kill me. Hopefully.

I went to the trouble of making a 33mm mid wave sonic manipulator, turns out I didn't need one!

I was super lucky, I found an old hard-bound ionic motivator at a garage sale. I honestly didn't think I'd get one for less than $50. It still had 75% charge too!

My blueprints in case anyone wants to try out the same build. If you do give it a go, please remember that it's super low quality, so use safety gear and/or don't sue me.

i like the way you incorporated the prefabulated amulite keep up the good work

Really surprised you went with a modified Johnson-Watt when the build by Smith et al. in '96 showed superior low-spectrum delta readings.

This is jokes.

Hey you remember that episode of the Simpson's where Homer becomes an outsider artist?

A sonic manipulator is not mandatory and only acts as a safety measure, since the low capacity condensers act as flux barriers at high freq.

what....what is it? what does it do?

It's a makeshit turbo encabulator

Yeah, exactly! Except with electro-quantum inputs instead of analog ones.

i'm still lost. does this have a highly specialized function or does it power anything that i would work with?

How much write-only memory does it have?

Not much sadly. I guess that's what I get for using my oldest components.

Like the descriptions say, it's a functional VX system. I know, the loose wires and duct tape make that a little hard to work out.

google says it does nothing

The tech is a little off the charts.

what does a vx system do I am curious

Flux capacitor

Like I said in another comment, it's like a turbo-encbulator, except using electro-quantum inputs.
