I know y'all probably don't care, but it has been a LONG time since I have had a "nice" car. When we had kids I got rid of my nice, new car and bought a piece of crap. For the last 8 years I have been driving a whole slew of POS. About 4 months ago my wife surprised me at work with this GTI that I had been drooling over for awhile. I got it lowered right before Christmas and today I got my wheels put on! I absolutely love it, and the sentimental value is through the roof. I was so shocked when she showed up at my work and tossed me the keys. Thanks for sharing my excitement with me. The last picture is what it looked like the day she bought it for me

Tinted windows should be illegal. They make it difficult if not impossible for pedestrians to know if the driver has seen them.

In a controlled crosswalk at an intersection when I have the walk signal? Still been hit a couple of times and nearly hit a lot more.

How so? In the city I live you cannot trust drivers to not turn through a crosswalk without looking even when I have the walk signal and 1/
