Overhead view of the board with parts on. The settlements and cities rest comfortably at the corners, they do have to be slightly aligned to point down one of the three edges, but that's not a big deal, and not really noticeable.
You can see that the numbers are simply rested onto the tiles. The only tile for which this isn't ideal is the sheep, where the hill in the middle is a bit too big to rest the number absolutely flat. Even though this is the case the robber is still stable when on the numbers.
The robber on the mountain tile, which is somewhere I thought I might have a problem. The number actually rests comfortable in the space between the two ranges, and is stable enough.
This is the card seafarers expansion tiles added onto the normal board. You can see that the sizes of the tile is almost the same. In fact my tiles are about .2mm too wide, so there are a couple of gaps when used together, but nothing that prevents normal use of the game.
An overhead look where you can see some of the gaps more clearly. Because of the very slight size difference, the tiles are incompatible with the card border, so I might have to design one.

This is really cool, I have nothing clever to say.

made from? Also, how does this affect the random set-up?

Really cool, but I would make the terrains even more pronounced with special slots for the numbers on the tiles.

I've seen ones that have that, but didn't like the look of holes carved into the mountains ect.

I dig this. How do you randomize the tiles without messing up the finish?

Use an app for it, get a fairer layout too, and then just arrange.

Shut up and take my money! Please post a follow up to how you made all the terrain pieces please.

I looked through the album and it's amazing.
