Here's a little back story.
Back in 2011 I started a minecraft server called Elink365. It was quite a success, we had 40 active players everyday on at various times. The server was a survival/creative hybrid. You gain points/money by surviving in the wilderness and selling resources, and once you get enough money you can buy an area in a city and settle down, where all your possessions will be safe. If you are talented with building, you can enter the building contest held once every other week, and the winner(s) will be given creative privileges and partake in the big scale city buildings.
However, the server was shut down when I had to leave for college. The community fell apart without the reason for it to exist, of course. And that was the end of that.
But then, just a few days ago, I was looking through my harddrive, trying to find a back-up file. And that's where I found the back-up of the old server. I booted it up and amazingly, everything survived without a scratch. I was able to relive the moments I shared with my fellow players, and it almost brought me to tears because I thought the server data was gone for good.
TL;DR version: I found a save file of a 4 year old minecraft server and decided to post about it on a surge of pure nostalgia.
I know you guys fucking hate ponies but shit I am proud of what I made
