How to make a 'voodoo' alter promo pic

In the end, I chose to lose the sprig...but there were some good shots with this. I just felt it made things too crowded once I started adding the text

The Final Promo Piece

We added the necessaries: Logo and release info - the client was happy and I was happy. I still have the alter parts and a now hardened voodoo doll... and I'm starting to think the warehouse will be filling up with props in the future. This is a fun alternative to stock photography.
