Stop talking about fat lady, you're obsessed with fat lady! Get us outta here!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That went a lot differently than I expected

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hope the driver wore his brown pants.

This was last Thursday in The Netherlands. There was a big storm and alot of trucks got flipt over by the wind.

8 years ago | Likes 133 Dislikes 1

Seriously? Wow. That’s pretty intense. It does make sense, though.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why did you label it low bridge? The wind was obviously throwing the truck and trailer sideways. @OP ? Tricking people?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Simpel bait and switch, you expect to see the trailer hit the bridge but instead something else happens, subverting your expectations.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I recognise this road, it's near Oss.

If your trailer goes under sideways you don't need to worry about clearance height.

8 years ago | Likes 405 Dislikes 3

You see, Ivan, if you go under bridge like me, then you never have the tailgater for they fear of getting the crushed.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

yeah but at that angle isn't it actually taller?

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

I think that's what he meant

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Uh...geometry bro. A square is longer from point to point.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Yes, that is indeed what he is saying.

That’s the point ?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's because the driver had to make it fit.

Guy has a camera filming a low train bridge with frequent truck crashes. Interesting to watch if you like this sort of thing.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not sure how the guy got cameras filming them all but I made a compilation of them awhile ago.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's a website where he explains it but the camera is at his office. http://11foot8.com/

thank you!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That looks more like strong wind than the bridge because it starts going before it get's to the bridge.

8 years ago | Likes 164 Dislikes 9

The trees aren't even moving.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Sheer winds come down at sharp angles. The truck is straight in the middle of the lane when the trailer is almost sideways.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's wind, saw this post before..

If trees ain't moving, Maybe the top right tire blew out. The truck definitely did not hit the bridge

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sure looks like the front trailer hit the bridge, as the back one tilts away you can see the left rear corner hit the bridge.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

It was, it waa footage from a storm here in The Netherlands. Lotsa damage

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The trees look like they're barely moving though

No leaves, so not much resistance

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can see the trailer rocking from winds the whole gif. Kind of bouncing to the right.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Whhaaaa?!?!?

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

...hit the shoulder hard when he realized it.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Nope, so wrong. Even after the back tandem trailer looses control it does not even hit the bridge. Source: I drive tandem trailers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 10

Glad hands!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So what the heck happened? Wind?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It could have been wind ...but the trees aren't moving much. The wheels on right side just look like they go off the road onto the shoulder

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

2/2 not sure if deliberate or pure luck but the first tandem clears because it's lower and the 2nd would have hit if it hadn't tipped.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

not saying it does... he hits the shoulder of the road.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Title: Low Bridge Your reply: Hits shoulder when realized it. Realized what? Bridge is involved in no way in this video.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 15

That's the point. This is why it's funny.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

That’s the point, makes you think it’s gonna hit the bridge. But it’s not about that
