Just get Elder Scrolls Online

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stop paying Bethesda money for a game you already own. You are just incentivizing them to not make a new game.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

UESP made a fake announcement for April Fool's Day about TES VI being set in Akavir and I was so fucking pissed off

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've kinda given up on Bethesda after the lack lustre fallout 4 the and their new stance on modding and pr disaster

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bethesta will never make another game as long as it can milk skyrim.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I'm waiting patiently for the morrwind hd remake.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Man those first mods in creation club are trash

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TES6? Even more dumbed-down, voiced protag with less dialogue choices, and no mod support outside of paid mods from Creation Club? No thanks

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

This is it,the one time we relate to asian expectations.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

ES 3 was centered around dark elves. ES 4 imperials, and Nords for ES 5. Not sure about first two. Hope of the remaining races its khajiit.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Arena was nobody in particular, Daggerfall was Bretons. Probably Summerset/Altmer is next

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unpopular opinion, they should take as much time as they need to produce the sequel so I don't get game changing glitches anymore

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

In the time it took from Oblivion to Skyrim, we went from Skyrim to....Skyrim again. They are even developing the next one.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You must be new to Bethesda games.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good luck on that with a Bethesda game.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Apparently they haven't even started on TES VI yet

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like they should take all the time they need to make the game not boring as sin. That'd be a nice dream.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fact that people let them get away with it just means that they won't change.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they would need to make a completely new engine. but they won't.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And let's just think about the time it takes to produce these massive open world games with almost unlimited replay value

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

no, just put it out the way that they did skyrim and let players make unofficial patches that pretty much fix all the problems

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, just put it out the way that they did skyrim and let players pay for patches that pretty much fix all the problems via creation club

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

guy_gets_up_from_conference_and_jumps_out_of_window.gif (side note, Ctrl+ left or right arrow keys skips over words)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hmm I just play ESO...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

haha someone downvoted my upvote before I even left the page; the TES VI QQ gets really fucking tiring when you consider what little chance

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

the haters gave ESO

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you play ESO?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not much anymore all my game time is spent on pubg with the occasional dota; that doesnt mean I cant recognize eso as criminally underrated

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah cool, what's pubg out of interest...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't play TES to play with other people.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

so play ESO by yourself? its not like the games not built to be playable that way

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I feel like you didn't read what I typed. I do not want anyone in my game in any way, shape, or form.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

ESO definitely wouldn't be for you then. I hate playing on my lonesome. Gets to claustrophobic and lonely

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I play MMO's but TES is not a game I play to play with others.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

so like you play skyrim modded w/o NPCs? sounds like you're trying to make up a reason for not doing something when there isn't one

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

NPC's aren't players. Go be stupid somewhere else.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I've been an elder scrolls fan for over a decade but if they don't do something with the shit combat system I won't be buying 6.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This one hurts right in the feels.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try Witcher 3

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's the survival mode shit? Just use the super popular campfire, iNeed, and that other survival mod o can't remeber the name of right now

8 years ago | Likes 140 Dislikes 3

Fucking thank you all, I may have to pick up skyrim again. I never looked back after Fallout 4's survival mode.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Realistic Needs and Diseases and Campfire. God I love campfire.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Frostfall.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or you can press one button and not have to deal with any of that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago (deleted Oct 8, 2017 2:38 PM) | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

It's free

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Frostfall?

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

It's a new mod on the CC a.k.a. paid mods. This one, however is currently free. You can now starve and freeze to death.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's paid mods. Costs 15 dollars. On a 6 year old game.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view) Skyrim Survival Mode broke Campfire, Frostfall, and iNeed.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh god damnit I just got all my mods balanced right. This is going to fuck it all up, isn't it? God fucking damnit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, playing with the mods now

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you just...not get Survival though? Because if I already have all that, then I can't think of a reason to get survival mode.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Welp, back to ESO.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want to make sure everyone knows, every dollar you spend on micro transactions is a bribe to the publisher to stop making new games.

8 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 9

This. So, so much this.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Up until paid mods the issue for skyrim wasn't dlc, it was re-releases.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Say no to creation club, in other words

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Say no to horse armor and say no to shitty low effort DLC.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

All of it is in mods!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The thing about this is that unless you organize a mass scale boycott, a couple people stopping microtransactions has absolutely no effect>

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

on developers, and just serves to hinder the gameplay of said few people. I'm guessing most people prefer to personally enjoy their>

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

playtime instead of sacrificing aspects of it to set an example that may or may not really achieve anything.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

and that is why we fail

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

so like vegetarianism?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or fallout 5, that'd be cool too

8 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 19

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

To heck with Fallout 5. I want Fallout New Vegas: 2.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Fallout Newer Vegas

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Too soon from 4. We won't get fallout 5 until ES VI is released and milked bone dry.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Ik :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What you talkin about they are just gonna rerelease skyrim again

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Rererelease

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want an updated Fallout 2 so people can play a real wasteland.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Anyone who down votes this is a God Damn communist

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

After the lackluster fallout 4 and the current direction from Bethesda, not really.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Scary thought I guess, yeah :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think 4 was bad, it's just NV and 3 were really really good

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Especially if the Obsidian guys get to do it. Man, can you imagine Fallout 4, but with a good plot?

8 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 3

Look up Fallout: Cascadia

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or a game that doesn't feel empty and unfinished? That'll be the day...

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Sadly Bethesda won't let that happen. Which is stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Shaun!!!!! Has anyone seen my baby shaun!!! Ooh look a desk fan! And some adhesive!! Wait what was i doing?

8 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

I have never cared less in my history of gaming for an "important" character. I gave zero fucks about that kid.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I was more attached to the wife/husband being killed, and didn't even get to keep caring because all the dialogue was about the damn baby.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Never removed that wedding ring..

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#Nofansleftbehind

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

No junk items left behind in general bro. I've dropped valuable shit for a pile of pencils.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yes, absolutely, but I've dropped other junk to make room for desk fans. Outside of my let's play vids I take everything not nailed down!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I... I want that. So bad. But they better keep the settlement thing. I know everyone hated it, but it's what I need and didn't even know it.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

More developed towns and fewer settlements would have been great. I only ever focused on 2 or 3 and abandoned the rest

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The settlements are my all time favorite part. That mechanic further expanded in that kind of world would be my perfect game.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't need a plot, I'm building a damn settlement army with artillery on the whole map

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Skyrim together is close to being playable. Can't wait to play with friends.

8 years ago | Likes 484 Dislikes 4

Good news! Morrowind multiplayer is a thing, so go play it!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you could just give ESO an actual shot

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I remember hearing a while ago about a mod that makes Skyrim co-op

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Skyrim Together info for people mixing it up with ESO and Tamriel Online https://www.reddit.com/r/SkyrimTogether/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are they doing that?

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

A group of people are. Skyrim Together, they'd like to have it released in October if not by October then by the end of the year.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Can't wait for Bethesda's parent company to shut that down when it launches. Like they did skywind when it tried using original assets.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

That's called Elder Scrolls Online

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 69

Never speak it's name. We don't talk about such atrocities here.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

No it's fucking not

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

i love Skyrim and i play ESO daily but they are very different. Same universe/lore but very different gameplay/experience

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I love how many people use that logic. Just because it's in the same universe and made by the same people, doesn't make it the same game.

ESO is no where near as fun or immersive

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

We don't talk about ESO...

No

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 40

Sometimes... people rather play a good game

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly the last thing I want in my Elder Scrolls is Xx_CawadoodySniperPro_xX wearing nothing but a loin cloth running around.

8 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 5

I’m honestly amazed no one has made an account under that name and commented on this.....

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you can use anything you want on steam no name limits

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats why you invite friends..

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

those are my friends

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

You those are your sacrifices you mean. You take them with you to molag bal and just tell them to touch the pillar for you.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

hmmm, clever

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What we really need is just an Oblivion remaster

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Skyblivion.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its hitting the home stretch ive heard

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

PLEASE GOD.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They made TES MMO just for that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Hope it's better than Tamriel Online. My friend and I tried it last weekend; total shitshow.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

I get if you don't like it, but it's far from a shit show. Tons to do, different areas for different playing styles, & good community

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's talking about a Skyrim mod called Tamriel Online.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh ok, my bad. I thought he was just running together Elder scrolls online- tamriel unlimited. Thanks for clarifying

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not for everybody, but I have a lot of hours in ESO and really enjoy it. I just hate Cyrodiil as a low champion level player.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tamriel Online is a mod for Skyrim adding multiplayer. It's a buggy mess, a pain to start, etc. but it sometimes works.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The author tried to get various things synced, couldn't quite get it all there.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gotcha, I guess I'm not fully up to speed on all the mods.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friend and I have been playing the one they made for the non special edition. Pretty fucking awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 114 Dislikes 2

I did not think it was special.

It's not that buggy, and works with other mods pretty well. Let me get a link

Multi player skyrim

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Elder Scrolls Online :P

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 19

Elder Scrolls Online isn't multiplayer elder scrolls, it's an mmo dressed up as elder scrolls

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

That doesn't exist.

ESO rules

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 9

To be fair, I just discovered Fallout 4's survival mode & it makes the game like 50x better. But Skyrim has had survival mods for years.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Yeah but the story and characters are still shit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What makes it better?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/5 Fallout 4 vanilla always felt super clunky and confused to me. Like it didnt know what kind of game it wanted to be. When I tried

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5/5 life. You learn to fear and mistrust every new thing you encounter. It has it's own problems. But I enjoy it more than the default game.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cool. I've thought about playing thru it in survival mode but wasn't sure if it was worth it. The game really is too easy even on hard

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Survival certainly is a time sink. So you need that resource. It's not so much that the game is too easy, but more it has no weight.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/5 survival I was like "OHHHHH, *this* is the game they were trying to build." It suddenly all made sense. Suddenly settlements arent just

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

3/5 pointless grinding Each one is a new oasis where I can find food, clean water and most of all a bed to

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

4/5 save in. Suddenly combat gained a lot of weight and panic to it. Like a real apocalypse, often I'm just running away in terror for my

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No fast travel kills it for me don't like tedium/challenge that can't be overcome without investing real time for no reason.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It definitely has it's own unique problems. But I think the problems in non-survival Fallout 4 killed the game way more for me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Join brotherhood, vertibirds actually become super useful.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are mods that let you have a personal non faction vertibird, or custom fast travel from settlement to settlment that you build.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thing is I want to join the Institute and afaik that does not bode well with Brotherhood

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

institute still gives you a teleport to the center of boston, which is something.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
