The dutch police have in the past said that their "deescalate the situation no matter what" training makes them a bunch of pussies (none of this was their words) but it does make them a pleasure to work with... Although mostly i just get tickets from them

And if they are not cops, they are their best friend and enabled by them, no need to push anything. The main thing cops do in america is to try and push ordinary people into snapping so they can abuse them further.
The entirety of american society has much to learn from the Netherlands. Unfortunately most americans seem utterly incurious and complacent and seem to genuinely believe the lie that their country is the best, nothing to see here folks, no room for improvement....
They absolutely do, I'm dutch myself and whenever I'm in holland, im reminded of just how shitty we do things here in the states. I'll pass on the pickled herring though.
