yeah, this is going to be the COVID debacle all over again. the Republicans believed Trump when he said his ignoring of COVID would hurt the Democrats and leave the Republicans alone. The Democrats are more likely to be able to find of get their birth certificate or already have a passport and more Republicans are going to find themselves disenfranchised than Democrats.

Since the 2022 Ukraine invasion I have felt there is no limit to how much suffering and deprivation the russian people deserve for allowing their regime to do evil and dumb shit... This is how I feel about the U.S as well, "bUt I vOtED dEmOcRaT"... I don't care, that did nothing. Oh, they're there - along with rules about activating national guards, declaring war, search and seizure, ungrounded detainment, voting rights, sexual assault, and even renaming federal buildings. What's been made abundantly clear over the last year or so is not that these laws do or don't exist - it's that Dear Leader and his cronies can openly ignore them without any sort of retribution; that there isn't actually a concrete system in place to _enforce_ them.
