Please imgur we need all the prayers we can get
This little guy was born this morning and wasn't breathing because they didn't take him soon enough and made my cousin do a bunch of unnecessary stuff and his heart rate dropped
We are extremely heart broken and need any love and help you guys can get
I'm thinking of starting a gofund me page if anyone is interested
Please pray for this little guy we are all heart broken

Edit:
Omg such amazing love and support we can't thank you all enough for all the kind words , the baby is doing ok and is stable
Here is the gofund me link for everyone asking
https://www.gofundme.com/baby-finnley-wilsons-fund

I hope everything turns out and they get stronger. Keep him warm and give him love.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts! You got this, little one. I live in Buffalo & they are amazing at Children’s!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Sure for him, but unless you are. Dr, Nurse, Respiratory therapist or other medical person How would you know they did unnecessary things?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Heart rate kept dropping and they never checked monitors till it was to late..

Sorry, not going to pray for you. I do however support improved education, science-medical research and universal healthcare which does help

Quick, while the parents are distracted, teach the baby how to drive!

Come on little guy, you can do it!!!

From this, I assume the baby's name is Dillon and his mom is a bitch?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wilson ... but bout the mom ...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is precious! Sending love and hope and good thoughts to the little man. Lots of prayers!!

I don’t particularly like how the “blame game” has started already while this little guy is still struggling.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Not blaming they just waited to take him and made her do different positions for contractions when they shouldn't have

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Finnley is am amazing name. I love it. 10/10

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 7

First name chuck?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You mean 5/7?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His name is Philips. It's right there on the label!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the exact opposite response, but I'm still pulling for him

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Gonna have to agree with you on this... Again, still pulling for him!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thinking good thoughts for the little dude.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

God bless your lovely cousin, Finnley, & all your family. May God’s comforting presence be felt and Finnley’s hospital stay be short.

Good luck to the child but praying and farming points on sick kid wont make you or her feel any better, you know?

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 19

Wow your a dick dude for thinking I'm using this for upvotes my lil cousin is fighting for his life fuck off dick

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People handle stead differently... reassurance, thoughts and attention are important. Fuck off

I was born at 25 wks, in the ICU for 4 months, fully functional adult with little health issues. There is always hope in better things ahead

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

My ex fiance was born at 2lbs 7 ounces. Clean bill of health. I was normal (for a little bit at least!)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If praying did anything, you wouldn't need an ICU.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

he's apparently breathing for himself now, on a snuggly warm bed. No incubator, no respirator. he'll be fine

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I'm praying for Finley and your family, @op

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Son was 8 weeks early. I'll give you what I got from the nurses, "don't worry, you won't believe how hard they are to kill." He'll be 13

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Little Finn can do this! Babies are so resilient, it's insane. Tiny super people. I don't pray but I'll keep you in my thoughts.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

I'm a atheist but i said a prayer.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 8

I do the same damn thing LOL. In my head just like well it might help I don't have any proof that it won't.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unless you were there the whole time AND are a trained medical professional, you have no right to state what you just did.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

Huh?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

I think commenter is upset about blaming the medical staff? Not sure. Don't worry about him/her. Lots of love and hope for Finnley! <3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I understand what happened has happened we just want him better :/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

And that’s what everybody in that hospital wants. That’s their profession.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya def

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Commenter (me) doesn’t like how OP blames the medical staff while he has no knowledge whatsoever that allows him to make those claims.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My son also went through this almost exactly, he was in ICU for a week but now 4 months later he is fat and happy and healthy, it'll be ok

8 years ago | Likes 390 Dislikes 7

I love the part where is fat. My kid was in the NICU for similar reasons. he too is healthy and happy but the buggar hates eating. So...2/3!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was born with breathing problems, and got all the help I could get, and that was quite a while ago. With todays tech, I need not send 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Wishes, for I am confident that your little cousin will be okay. So I send you positive vibes to get through the stress. Stay Positive :)

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Same here. Wish they had the tech in the 80s. I have COPD under the new guidelines.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are overly confident. While I hope for the best, this is on the far end of the shit things that can happen in hospital.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dude just because your son was its no guarantee for anyone elses child. Please find another way to be supportive.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 183

Down vote me if you want but if things go poorly this is a slap in the face to any bereaved parent.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 152

It's hope and good wishes. If all goes well then it'll be sweet relief. If it doesn't, they can find comfort in someone else's faith.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

It’s called hope. There’s a time for honesty and there’s a time for hope and this is a time for the later.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Be careful you might cut yourself on the edge.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

You’re life has been pretty sad lately hasn’t it, maybe you need some love and support... everything will be okay, we love you.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

No, not all babies are going to make it, but this is how people express empathy in a situation such as this.

8 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 2

No reason to be so negative

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

Its not negative its reality. Shit hurts when they get the happy ending you don't. Until you know don't make promises.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 48

dude you're just an asshole

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

You don't need prayers, you need a good health-care system.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 24

Dick move but still I'm kinda pisses about this I doubt you know the geography but he's 50 miles away from the best NICU in the world

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 11

And if she can be moved OP please look into that and if you do read this I wish him all the luck in the world

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

It's the University of Rochester research hospital

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Respiratory therapist here! Respiratory wise he looks to be doing great!Otherwise he would be on a ventilator;or oxygen at the very least.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

He was on one

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But he was able to be moved off it, right? That's progress. That's good! Baby steps for little Finley. You can do it bub!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Baby steps are for babies! Which he is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup he's moved off it and got evaluated this morning they think he will be ok :)
