This is me 61 weeks ago, before I was diagnosed with cancer.
I really miss my long hair, and i cant wait to have it back!
My first chemo session
I looked pretty rough there, good thing i had Bailey there by my side:)

Having worked at a cancer treatment clinic, patients are told they don't need to shave their head until a few weeks after chemo begins.

Depending on the type of cancer, often there are multiple rounds of chemo. i.e. 10 days of chemo, break to recover, 10 days, etc.

Lots of people who go through chemotherapy shave their heads prior to the treatment. Some people don't like seeing their hair falling out.

Either she shaved it before hand or lost it with chemo. My aunt had to have aggressive chemo lost her hair and eyebrows.

As someone who had a relative go through cancer, some people just choose to shave the hair off to avoid it falling out in clumps.
